9.0 finished!

Hey,just giving an update on my progress on Classic! Last night,at midnight...I BEAT 9.0!!! With NO continues! Now from my previous post,I was telling everyone that Ike had made it to the end of 9.0,but died once,right? Well,I tried it again that night,but Ike still fell short like last time. :/ So,I decided to use one character to try and finish this once and for all:Lucina. (Note,I would've used Marth,but Lucina had most of her specials unlocked) Anyway,she came to a few close-calls,but eventually,she made it to the Final Battle...The Hands were a breeze,and the Swarm was more difficult to take down without Ike's brute force.Nevertheless,she beat the three forms.Now unto the doppelganger..It was extremely close fighting it,but I used Lucina's standard special,upgraded to a dash attack which threw it off-guard in battle.After a successful up-smash...it was done... So extremely happy this morning!

I still cant get passed anything above 8.5 without dying... A LOT! I am pretty good at first 3 stages, then it gets kinda difficult and when I get to master and crazy I usually die once at the humanoid thing, then again at the swords! and sometimes even on master and crazy hand themselves! using ganondorf with full power makes it very easy to get passed it. but I always end up dying in some way with him

Congrats ! I haven't given a shot at that difficulty for the only reason that my brother might be playing near me, and I'll lose focus. But I bet it was tough. Unless if they are like LV.8 CPUs. (good on the stage, terrible when recovering or in the air)

Congrats. 9.0 is frustrating sometimes, but in the end it's all worth it.

I done it with only two characters (Marth and Olimar). Mainly because there is more room for error when each attack you use deals 12 damage. It's more of a see how well you can predict and dodge rather than use a fury of attacks all at once. You should do it with all characters too so you can get more new things when you already have 90% of everything because that's when it's harder to collect every custom move, trophy, and everything else needed for completion.

That's what I've been doing (40/51 characters so far, currently doing it with Olimar). It's proven very effective as I have 250+ of the 380-ish custom moves and 530+ of the 685 trophies.

I died alot going on 7.5 at first,so you're going at a higher level than I did! @Icemario :Oh,you would say that! XD But I caaaaaan't,they don't suit me! XD I'm neutral with Little Mac(Even though I side-special myself off the cliff most of the time. XD ),but I'm pretty good with Marth,he's been my wingman ever since I unlocked him on Melee. As a heads-up though at everyone though,PAC-MAN,and Rosalina were finished at 9.0 last night at 1 AM.

I just completed 9.0 with every character (Miis included) a moment ago.

I got absolutely nothing besides the usual accomplishments, save for bragging rights.

@Icemario Wow, that's quite a feat. Do you have every trophy and custom move? I would imagine that you do if you have completed Classic Mode 9.0 with each character. How many tries did it take with each character on average? It would take me 100 tries with every character.

For the first ten or so barring Shulk, it took me on try. Except for King Dedede, Zero Suit Samus and the Mii Brawler, the rest took me 1-4 tries.

And no, I don't. I have around 585 trophies and over 260 special moves.
