Well since i was little i owned my first ds game "Pokemon Platinum Version" i played that game and never stopped, it was awesome, that is when i get here where everyone says it sucks. I decided to rebuy it becaus i lost it and play it again.... i felt that sensation of playing a goood game. Does really anyone appreciates this game like i do?

I enjoyed Platinum quite a lot! I don't know what you're talking about, with people here not appreciating Sinnoh. xD. It wasn't my first game but I enjoyed it because I liked the new Pokemon introduced and it had a cool storyline, with the new and improved Battle Frontier at the end as well as a large range of Pokemon to choose from.

I replayed it three times in total I think and I enjoyed it every time. I think it was only tedious near the beginning, but near the end of the main story, with Champion Cynthia, I feel it became a great game. I certainly appreciate Sinnoh, although it wasn't the best, but was good. ^^

I certainly liked the Sinnoh region :D Pokemon Platinum was my first Pokemon game too and I never really thought the region was bad. It was very colorful and detailed and full all sorts of secrets and things to discover. Having to beat Team Plasma and going through the Distortion World and defeat the gym leaders was very exciting. After-game was also pretty cool too.

So although some may hate the Sinnoh region, it doesn't mean you should hate it too :p

You're not the only one who lives Sinnoh. To be honest, Sinnoh is one of my favorite ones! (Not because of Dawn.... maybe... )

Platinum was really fun but I prefer Diamond or Soul Silver.

I loved pokemon Platinum! Although I would say I liked HeartGold more because that was my first pokemon game :p The Battle Fronteir was awesome and Cynthia's my favorite Champion. ^-^

Pokemon Platinum is just like Emerald, and Cystal I believe. Those were the only ones that had 3 games for its its franchise, unless you are counting Yellow, which was more different from red/blue. Just like those games, they mashed up pokemon and created a different storyline in the same region. I never played Crystal, so I can't juge on that. In my opinion sinnoh would have go be my 2nd favorite region out of all the other ones. Hoenn would have to be my favorite, but sinnoh is really good. The only reason I liked Hoenn is because emerald was my first Pokemon game. So sinnohs ranked pretty high in my list!

Platinum was a good game even without version exclusives. It had a longer story mode but with the same fun as D/P. Also you could rematch Gym Leaders and I thought that was cool.

well maybe i see im not alone :)

Are you serious! How can people not like Platinum! It is by far my favourite! It was so amazing! I thought that it was awesome that you can go through a portal and capture a Giratina and later revisit that place to get his orb. Through events you could summon a staircase to heaven and capture the god of pokemon! You can go to sleep and wake up in a dark island and capture the nightmare pokemon Darkrai! I loved it so much! And the champion was so DIFFICULT for me as a pokemon noob back then. The game was packed with fun content. It is sad that you can no longer connect to the internet but oh well.

I am excited for Diamond and Pearl remakes but they won't come for a good few years :(

Sinnoh is the only region that I have skipped in my entire Pokemon playing life. Didn't have a DS at that time.

Sinnoh is great. It has so much lore and the graphics were beautiful, not to mention the first game on the DS. It introduce the physical and special attacks and greeted the story. Cyrus still gives me the creeps. The legendaries were creative (Palkias head) and also had lore. Not to mention Giratina and the distortion world. Imagine a distortion world with distorted pokemons. That would've been cool.

You're not the only one who likes Sinnoh! Platinum is one of my favorites (Heartgold is the other) and they have really cool legendaries. I wish I could transfer my Giratina and stuff to ORAS but I dont got Pokemon Bank. The Sinnoh region is really funny, too. So much to do, so many cool Pokes, etc.

Platinum is actually my favorite pokemon game, so no you are not the only one. :) I like Sinnoh because of the plot, and the battle frontier. I also like a majority of the pokemon that were introduced in Gen 4.

I really wish they would make a Sinnoh remake. Something in my gut tells me that they will in the far future.

gen 4 was great! Although Emerald is by far my favorite game, d/p had good storyline and good pokemon(not to mention the GTS)

I love the Sinnoh region and always will. My first Pokemon game was in the Sinnoh region and it was Pokemon diamond! I loved the game and played it over and over until Pokemon platinum came out I pre-ordered it right away and I played diamond completed the Sinnoh dex and had all of my poker's at level 100 so I was prepared for platinum when it came out and I have the games to this day and my Pokedex almost completed!

I really enjoyed Pokemon Platinum. It's very much like Pokemon Emerald in the way that it brings together the generation. Most people that say it sucks are probably only complaining that it isn't different enough from the previous versions. I personally like the games that bring a Pokemon generation together in a great 1 game package. Though, I can understand why some people would be annoyed by that.

I think your thinking unova... some people hate on it for reasons I don't understand. I personally played the hell out of black and black 2. Like 9 playthroughs each, but I did 19 playthroughs of platinum.
