I don't really have a favorite region or anything like that... I love all of them! I play Pokemon all the time and I enjoy every minute of it. From my Eevee evolving into a Sylveon, to me hatching my first shiny, Pokemon has always been one of my favorite games to play, and it probably will be for a long time. Back to the subject, I don't really have a favorite game or region, I just love playing Pokemon in general! :)

To be honest, I love these games a lot! Personally, I liked the ds era of pokemon the best, the 3ds pokemon these days are fun but compared to the other pokemon games, the 3ds versions really lack. Platinum is one of those games that pokemon x/y or oras pale to compete against.

Sinnoh has an entire massive underground network under itself, what's not to love?
I don't remember anything about Sinnoh as a region that I disliked... saving time & movement speed in buildings is unrelated to the region, afterall.

No, no! You're not alone.
I simply love Sinnoh: Pokémon Pearl was my first Pokémon game (together with Mystery Dungeon Red Squad) and simply loved it.
I got it in English and back then I couldn't understand very well the storyline and the mechanics, not being a native speaker, and I remember having my Torterra at level 80 before hitting the League, while over team mates about 30! >_<
Also, I taught him Cut and Rock Smash but I didn't know that there were a Move Deleter into the game: in other words, I played the whole game with Razor Leaf and Earthquake which replaced some Rock type move (can't exactly remember) only! I was such a noob back then. :p
Two years later I got Pokémon Platinum (this time in Italian) and I found it fantastic; wonderful storyline and characters, I loved Cyrus and the hardest Champion of all time™ Cynthia, who took me forever to beat.
I'm still found of my in-game team: Infernape, Staraptor, Vaporeon, Roserade, Luxray and Giratina; I'm not interested in battling and this party was perfect for a normal, storyline run.
I really liked the cartoon series based on DPPt. Really cool!

I like Sinnoh region a lot. Pokemon Platinum was a awesome game too. My people that says that it sucks are probably complaining that it isn't very different from the previous games. I like the Sinnoh region because of the plot and there were plenty of good Pokemon in this region. There should also be a remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

I liked Sinnoh a lot. The one region I dislike is Unova. I just don't like the designs of the pokemon, they all just seem ugly other than the starters. But that could just be me. And perhaps it was that season of the anime I dislike. The only part of it I could stand was Cilan perhaps, he wasn't as annoying as Iris good god I wanted to kill her.

Sinnoh is a great region, one of my favourite Pokémon games. I never heard anyone saying anything bad about it though. I still liked HeartGold and SoulSilver better, a bit (maybe because of cute Pokémon like Totodile) Still Sinnoh has great starters, better gameplay, and an amazing experience.

You're not the only one, there are many who like it.
