They are pretty cool for the first five minutes... that's about it :/ other than playing little games with them, you can pretty much just look at them. I personally use them as bookmarks

I love them! I took several pictures of my Mii in real world that way lol (sounds complicated).
But yeah, great fun ><

The AR Cards are ok and entertaining, but they aren't something I would do frequently.

Agreed, they appear to be made to show off what the 3DS can do, not for frequent use or anything serious.

The AR cards are fun and all, but I don't use them very often. They were probrably made to show off a certain function of the 3ds but even after all that, it isn't very amuzing. Now the AR cards are my personalized bookmarks that I use for all the different books I am reading, which is about 6 books.

I think they're pretty fun but it's not something that you can sit there and do for hours xD I use them rarely but it's always fun, to me at least. If the 3DS had a better and clearer camera it would be better, imo but they're a fun feature.

There are also AR cards edition of the $10 eShop card. You can you this for the Photos with Mario App. I used this more than the AR cards the comes with the 3DS. I think the most beautifully executed AR cards function is for the Bravely Default. I haven't really tried the game, but the intro in the let's play is really awesome. It's as if you can touch her in the room *spoiler*!

I used them when I first got my 2DS it was awesome. Now I barely use them. When I first used them, they were amazing because I never AR cards ever. But now, I never play with them anymore.
