Best 3D Mario Game?

Though it was the first and to some may not be considered 3D (but it is, just not like the 3D we see now), I will have to say Super Mario 64; mostly for reasons that can be left unsaid. It's just a terrific game, and being the first '3D' Mario game, it definitely set expectations for the games that we see now.

Hey , I would also say the Super Mario 64 was one of the best and funnest 3d Mario games out there and it does have that good old nostalgia moments . Also the first 3d Mario game . I really hope that they make a remake for the 3ds because really I think that many many lots of people will like it , including me

My favorite game from the Mario franchise would have to be Super Mario Galaxy 1. It has a amazing story and it was the first game I actually dedicated myself to do a 100% completion on, other than OoT, and actually accomplish it. It took me many months but eventually I aced it 100%. And that's when I got Galaxy 2....then I was all like "Nope! Not doing it again!"

Game is superrr-fun and I still play it. (I have yet to beat the crown level T-T) It's crazy fun with friends because the 3d world takes a while to get used to, so your friends start jumping off by accident. There's a lot of levels tooo, and they are all varied. My most favorite thing is the different ability they added to the characters. Peach floats, Mario is all around, etc. It makes the characters worth changing, know what I mean?

I've lost over 500 lives on that Creator-forsaken level... Repetition, observation, and rectification eventually led me to beat the level with all of the characters.
I would say Super Mario 64, but I've only beaten the DS remake (which doesn't count imo). My next resort would have to be agreeing with the post above. Super Mario 3D World was definitely a huge improvement upon its predecessor: Super Mario 3D Land. The HD graphics made everything that much better as well. Playing through this game for the first time was extremely fun for me. The game only got better as I progressed through it!
. There is a LOT of platforming and stuff and its real awesome.

Well, the answer should be for many people Super Mario Galaxy, but I haven't played this game yet so for me the best 3D Mario game is Super Mario 3D World, the new power ups are very nice, this game is very beautiful and the game has 5 playable characters I think and you can play with Rosalina after you unlock the special levels, she is really beautiful and it's nice to play with her.

I loved 3d world. I played all 3d mario games and some 2d mario games but ut of all of that, 3d world s my favorite. There are so much variations and it highly replayable. A galaxy 3 will be wonderful and be better if they were to release it for the wii u. 3d world has 12 worlds and tons of levels, that makes you go nuts. So MUCH LEVELS. I also 100 percented the game with all 5 characters, green stars, flags, stamps and speed runs. Yes, even champions road. 3d world is that good. A galaxy 2 is a close 2nd.

My favorite game would be NSMB on wii.
My family plays it most of the time (bonding moments).
There's a guide for players who are stuck in a certain level (calling luigi).
My son really likes it and how we tag to defeat the level especially each mini and per level boss stages.

Probably Super Mario 64. It is really fun, has really creative level design, it's unique because of how open world it is, and how it all takes place in Peach Castle in the end. Bosses are quite unique too, especially in the DS remake, a lot of people didn't like it that much, but I loved it, I thought it was great. SM64 was also the first 3D mario game, meaning it was the one the lead to all the new 3D mario games we have today.

I only own one mario 3d game and it is Super Mario 3d land,it is a good game in general and is fun while your playing through the levels and i like how they added a new world once you beat the final level in the first world,so it is a good mario game to play but i got tired of it when i beat it.
