So when I destroyed all my friends on Smash 3DS, I felt awesome. So when I asked one of my friends whom I mentioned multiple times how he felt, he said "Brawl's the better game" And I laughed. So basically, we had a bet on what people thought was the better game : Brawl or Smash 4? So will you join his side with Brawl or me with Smash 4?
 
Smash 4. I don't like Brawl's physics.

Smash 4. Because it has no tripping, it is not as slow as GTA V running on a calculator, it is not played on the moon (gravity anyone ?) and it is on the 3DS which is a handheld.

I like them both a lot but I picked Smash 4 because of the physics. The brawl physics were really slow and floaty, plus the random tripping tech just ruins a good combo. Smash 4 fixes all these problems and makes the game look more stunning as you play. Plus DLCs are a thing.
 
To be honest , both of the games in the SSB series were really awesome and great , but my choice would definitely have to go for the new Smash 4 since everything is revamped to look better and has more cool characters and etc. Italso has fixed many technical issues in past games as well as introduce some new things .
 
Super Smash Bros. 4 (Wii U, that is) has better mechanics and lesser limitations than Brawl. The character roster has increased a lot as well since the previous gen of smash bros (of course, there are still people who want characters from Melee and Brawl to come back, and I bet some of them will over time [excluding Ice Climbers]). My favorite game out of the two (or three, if you will) is definitely Sm4sh, overall.

Ah, well my choice out of the two is Smash 4, but out of the three it's Melee.

I suppose you can take it in that manner. I meant Brawl, 3DS, and Wii U, as 'out of the three'. I should have been more specific. :p
 
I think for me is Smash 4, better color palette and art design, smash run is so awesome and probably my favourite mode on the whole Smash Bros. franchise, is portable and the newcomers are very good characters (especially Lucina and the Miis).
And the speed of the game is better too.

I like Brawl better. Actually l liked the tripping. It is funny. Also because more items pops up, story mode, and...well, l really loved the graphics to be honest. Brighter isn't always better in my opinion. I liked the taunts, voices, and appearences on certain characters (Marth, lke, Fox, l'm not used to his voice yet in Sm4sh) And finally, my favorite stages aren't in Sm4sh. Where's Green Greens from Kirby? Where's the ship from Zelda? Plus, Brawl was in my life since l was very young age. Nothing replaces it. I'm all for Brawl.

Although I noticed 6 frames of lag on Smash for Wii U I believe it's way better than Brawl. Every character gets a buffed recovery, Brawl characters get buffed (Diddy, Sonic, etc.), and there is a bunch of fun stuff to collect that you might actually care to look at.

What's that like anyway? l still think today that Project M is just a hacked version of Brawl.

Well ok, if you play with items on and on Green Greens, I can understand why tripping doesn't bother you...
Green Greens is in Melee, and the ship from Zelda is in Smash Flash and Project M, so I still can avoid playing Brawl :p
And I don't see why the fact it was here in your young age is an argument. I started with Brawl too, then started playing Melee and couldn't come back to Brawl due to all other Smash games being far better on at least one point.

Yes it is, but it is hacked for one precise reason: put some "Super Smash Bros" into "Brawl".

Not to be saying this because its the newest games in the series; but SSB4 is the better game. It introduced new characters from well known franchises and it bought back old favourites for OG players to use. However, Brawl was a peek in the timeline! The storyline of Brawl's campaign mode was brilliant! It explained how the Smash Bros. world came to be and who was actually pulling away at the strings of the toy figures and the hand duo. I will always have a place in my heart for smash, but SSB4 just takes my gaming tick.

It's not a hack, it's a mod. It has everything you love about Brawl except no tripping and feels more like Melee.

Smash bro 4 seems to be the better game to me from what i have seen, I havent had a chance to play it yet though beyond the demo for the 3ds.

so Sm4sh is better for the most of the people, no surprise for me ._.
