Ad-block because some site have adds that open up in new windows, and ads that open up in new tabs, and ads that shove themselves into your face... :banghead:
I also use Hola! which lets me access some websites that you can't in my country. (For example, Crunchyroll, Netflix, and some videos on youtube.)
There's also "HTTPS everywhere" but to be honest, I don't even remember what it does. :hilarious:

I used to use it too but I'd recommend giving up on this one. Read here for example (or anywhere else) to know why.

Now what I use are
  • Adblock for obvious reasons.
  • Greasemonkey only for the script to is supposed to make websites think I don't use Adblock
  • Ghostery for other obvious reasons.
  • MEGA, just because for some reason everyone uses that bullsheep service that needs you to install an extension to download big files like phone zips (even though most CM zips are not on MEGA)
  • FlashGot and VideoDownloadHelper for yet other obvious reasons. And I would actually buy music if they let me do it the way I want (I want to pay by cash and I don't want to pay for more than what I asked for, but for now I can either buy one music on the internet using a credit card (not cash) or buy a full album (not just one music) using cash in stores...).
And I tried to disable Adblock on 3dspedia (because that "Oh noes, y u use adblock" thing is even more disturbing than ads) but it didn't work, even when I also whitelisted 3dspedia on Ghostery. Probably Greasemonkey was still detected but I can't whitelist 3dspedia on that one (or at least I didn't find a way to do it).

I used Adblocker to block ads that are hindering my browsing experience, even though I disabled it for several sites (like in here). Usually I'm going between Adblock Plus or uBlock Origin.

Besides of that, I'm using Complete YouTube Saver and Video DownloadHelper as well if it comes to saving several YouTube videos to offline.

I have a useful tool bar with ad block on it. Granted when I got Adblock I got more ads on the computer and got a virus but you know, who cares :p

Adblock as well as other lesser important (but helpful) add-ons.
