Can you gift a Nintendo Switch voucher to a friend?

We know that Nintendo Switch game vouchers are going to be a thing, but I'm wondering if it's possible or if it's going to be possible to send a friend one of your Nintendo Switch game vouchers since you get 2 for $100.

I know you can buy codes for games at stores and then download them digitally later so that makes me think no. It also wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint because Nintendo would be making less money.
