Charizard X or Charizard Y?

pokemon x if you want charizard x and pokemon y if you want charizard y - if you want one for competitive battling and defiantly a charizard x if its the looks because its got very good looks

both have their own competitive niches honestly. Charizard Y is really useful for sun teams while Charizard X is a legit Physical Sweeper. It all depends on the team because both Mega Charizards are really good

I presonally would have to say that Charizard Y is much better than X. Charizard Y can OHKO or 2HKO just about anything not named Blissey or Chansey. But...

although it can 2HKO Blissey hypothetically, the fact of the matter is that Blissey can use one of the turns to T-Wave Charizard Y and essentially cripple it. Also, don't count on all those entry hazards being out on the field anyway......Charizard X, although it doesn't have Drought, is really useful because Tough Claws plus Outrage and/or Flare Blitz? GG

I think that black is the new orange and that charizard X tops charizard Y. Y also don't see the reason of a additional horn on charizard Y wasn't 2 enough no hate for charizard Y though I have one my self but you know the saying the grass is always greener on the other side.

While that's true, with a spinblocker, such Aegislash (who's quite common) , your entry hazards will stay on the field. Charizard X has the issue of just killing itself. It usually dies from recoil or revenge killing after a kill.

I think competitively, Mega Charizard Y wins because it gets higher stats, making its attacks even more powerful. Mega Charizard X is really more of a chance type tool. If you anticipate a Water, Rock, or Electric attack, switching/evolving into M. Charizard X helps negate some damage. However, it makes you vulnerable to Earthquake/Ground moves which can deal a lot of damage to Charizard. I think Charizard Y is more general purpose in this sense while Mega Charizard has a more specialized role that it can play.

I dont like Charizard X so much because it looks so wicked and its so OP in competitive (Better than Y), charizard X is also considered to be the best dragon dançer in OU because he can outspeed common choice scarfers with 1 DD its also the pokemon that lot of beginners use in competitive. Charizard Y design is awesome he can fit in a team very well because of Drought , a lot of pokemon in your team can take advantage of this with their fire type moves, but those two megas did not really influence me of what version i should pick, i chose Pokémon X because of Xerneas basically.

Y because it's more useful in any team that needs it and I find Multiscale Dragonite is a better sweeper than Char X since although it doesn't have an attack buff a Weakness Policy makes up for it (plus they both get DD).

Charizard Y because with it's drought ability, You can Solar beam right away without having much trouble. I have Charizard X and I don't think it is that strong. NEED CHARIZARDITE Y

I think the X version is better cause the Y one is just look exactly the same as it before mega evolve . charizard x has blue flame and black body make it look more fierce and can crush anything with its new ability that increase the critical hit when use physical attack on opponent ..it type also became a dragon plus flying type which is so cool and less in effective move like wter is not very effective on this charizard X
