on pokemon fire red, I caught a magikarp. I sent my charmelion to the pc, and never swapped out, I trained via struggle, and got a gyrados. It is now lv 100 and I beat the game with it.

well, i used sturugle until I found out that I could use a t to teach it tackle... that helped with the last 2 levels before it evolved

I once finished Yellow version with just Pikachu. Mega Punch got me through a lot of the Ground types. But I did need an HM mule.

I played Soul Silver with only a Feraligatr. Well, I had a bunch of Pokémon for HMs but they were all under level 10. Surprisingly it was actually much easier than playing with a full team...
In Moon I went a while without catching any Pokémon, but that's because all the cool ones were in later islands. I'm on about the third island now and my team is starting to grow.

I did the exact same for Soul Silver. lol

Well it your question sounds but i never completed a game with only one pokemon. I love to use diffrent types of pokemon in game which make it interesrting for me and morever you have vast coverage from diffrent types of pokemon .
But i will give it a try though :p

That's alright but you just admitted you will try do make such an achievement like most of us did,it takes time, and all to..
If your Pokemon faints even once during the adventure you fail the challenge
Olivia's lycanroc's Z move Continental crush nearly did me in! But Gaogen managed to survive and I'm so proud of him.
Good luck Danny and make sure your smart on your choices.

When I was younger I had a habit of just soloing soul silver with a Typhlosion. My favourite run was with a Typhlosion called Typo who even beat red and got all the way up to lvl 94 unfortunately I lost him to a corrupted save file. As for his name I wanted to call him Typho but funnily enough I made a typo and now it's a name I commonly use for the cyndaquil line to honor my closest companion.
Another notable solo run was with a Samurott who I soft reset in b2 for the right nature and ev trained as a physical sweeper in the first patch of grass. Because of all the ev training she was in her 20s before I even went to the ranch but I didn't skip any trainers during my journey or run from any battles so she was lvl 100 by the end of the 8th gym. I didn't give her a name because I only came up with a name for a male and couldn't be bother wasting any more time.

Oh hearing that makes me so happy. I actually though about doing that in my soul silver but changed my mind. I think it's so sweet how you now honor Typho now. Your not bad at all i'm very proud.
