"Whew. We're finally done." Axel said. "Good. Let's continue deeper into the cave." Makoto said. The group continued deeper into the cave, but not with punching a few monsters in the face first, but then the group cave at a dead end at the cave, with a red crystal in the middle.

Azura walked back over to the crystal and grabbed it this time he overpowered the repelling force. "Not worthy. Yeah right."

"Maybe...Maybe I should touch it..." Makoto suggested, even though he knew he may be the chosen one, he was incredibly nervous...

Azura held it out to Makoto. " Go ahead i don't want this stupid rock."

Makoto put his hand on the crystal, and it started to shine a radiant color. Makoto slowly back up, then felt a shooting, excruciating pain in his hand. "GGGRRRRRAAAAHHHHHH!!!! AAAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!!!" Makoto yelled in pain.

The ground started to shake, and the group started to loose their footing on the area. Four pillars of for a appeared in a circle, and out came the Ruler of Eternal Hellfire, Ifrit.

Ifrit formed an impenetrable barrier between Makoto and the rest of the group. It was up to Makoto alone to defeat Ifrit.

You know what will happen if you fail to defeat me within the time frame, correct?

"Yes! I'm willing to take full responsibility if I fail the trial!" Makoto said, as he grabbed his spear.

Makoto turned around to the group, slightly tearing up. "If I fail to defeat Ifrit within the time limit, I die." Makoto said. "Ifrit will cast the spell Doom on me, and if I don't win before it reaches zero, I automatically die."
