Do you get anxiety playing on the go?

That rarely happens to be. Besides, I usually leave my 3ds at home, which pretty much defeats the purpose of having a portable console. However, I do take my 3ds to school, which is a public place, and even then I don't feel like I can't concentrate.

I always leave my 2DS at home, same as all my other portable gaming devices. I just don't feel comfortable playing in public, even if it's with company! Every time I have tried to play when away from home, a huge crowd would swarm over me and it's incredibly annoying! I can't stand when people are doing that, so I chose to play only when I have peace and quiet!

I understand completely. I thought I was just being weird, I always feel nervous that someone will come up and question me about my 3ds and I won't be able to answer or they'll want a chance to hold it. Plus kids my age are into social media and music than video games so I don't want to be labeled as "Geeky"

I'll be honest, I'd never even think about taking my 3DS out and about, because there is the risk of it being lost or stolen. If I started playing it in public, I think others will make fun of me behind my back and will label me as a 'kid'. My 3DS is safe and sound in the comfort of my home, although it's a portable console. :p

A big, whooping "Nope" I take my 3DS everywhere if I get the chance for StreetPass and Play Coins and all that. I know I won't lose my 3DS because I always keep it in my pocket and my hands are always on it. And I never had people swarm me (seriously, what the heck) or call me a kid. Plus, there are so many other people with 3DSs. If you went to my college and went to the 5th floor computer lab or lounge, you will see people playing mostly Smash or Monster Hunter.

It's the opposite for me. I tend to be anxious and think people are talking about me if Im just idle and have nothing to do, so when I bring out my 2ds, I get calmer and can drown out those thoughts.

Nah,I'm never nervous or anything. I like to express my love for my 3DS, sometimes it's a good thing because I find people to play with. Other times it can be bad because people always judge what you are playing and they say that Playstation, XBox, GTA and COD are better. It doesn't really put me down though, considering way worse has happened in my life.

Whenever I bring my 3ds somewhere, I can never concentrate on the game and always feel so nervous LOL it's just so uncomfortable idek why. Even in the car, not in public settings, I can't play any game away from home for very long.

This happen to anyone else?
Yep it happens with me!

I cannot concentrate much long when i am playing with my 3ds on and public place and sometimes i even can't play when people are looking at my 3ds screen it really make me feel comfortable

And when I use to play game in any moving vehicle i always end up with never ending headaches

I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of my handhelds have never left my house. My PSP came with me early on in college, but even then it stayed indoors. Although I have no firsthand experience, I know playing a handheld on a moving vehicle would make me ill, because looking at my phone or even reading in a moving vehicle makes me feel ill if I don't stop within a minute or two.

As far as being in public goes, I don't trust people not to swipe it. A distracted person with a piece of technology is a really easy target. Happens all the time with phones.

I feel comfortable playing it anywhere but I don't really play it on the go very much. I only bring my 3DS aroung because of streetpass. LOL :cat:
