So I just realized that one of the main selling points for the 3ds is that it is portable(ya I just got that) and I'll admit I mainly play it at home, I don't really take anywhere that much. So what do you do,am I just that weird person that treats the 3ds like a console?

I play 3ds more at home, because I´m home most times

I play more at home, but that doesn't mean that occasionally I play on the go. I think one of the good things about it is that when you're travelling, you're able to easily take it with you without having to waste a lot of space storing it and such.

I play at home alot. But if i'm on the go my wii u isn't good for both battery and rage so the 3ds is awesome while in the car.

Mostly at home but when it comes close to the end of year and you don't get much work in school I bring it to school because to have fun and play all the time rather than sitting down in your seat doing nothing.

I mostly play it at home since I dont see the point of taking it to places I go. I actually like leaving it home because I hardly have time to play it if I take it with me because Im always on the move. However sometimes I take my 3ds to school so I can play with my friends or when I go to their house

I mostly play mine it at home because I mostly when I'm out, I use it just for street pass and for play coins for the 3ds and the only time I play it, if I'm at the train station and on the bus, plus I don't see the point why would I play the 3ds when I'm out.

Since I got a wii u, I hardly play much 3ds at home, but i play it sometimes at home. But the 3ds is super usefull on long car trips! My relatives live very far from us, so instead of just being bored in my car, i play smash or pokemon. Since the 3ds is actually my Brothers, we share it, but now that he has a tablet, i get it for myself!

I just usually play the 3ds at home and sometimes while waiting for next class at school. I still bring it whenever I go outside for streetpasses and whatnot, but I don't play it since that would be like an invitation to get it stolen.

I play mine at home but it's perfect, I can sit anywhere I want and play in the bathroom (talk about multi-tasking xD)
But to answer the question: I play more at home on my bed or couch.

Mostly at home. I don't feel like bringing it on the go, because you know, you could get it stolen in no time, especially at school.

I play my 3DS almost exclusively at home, mainly because I don't really go out much, let alone with my 3DS and being able to play it outside when I'm not busy with something. I play it on my couch most of the time...

I play mostly at home so I can focus on the game. (especially if im battling online on pokemon) and I also love to play my 3ds at home because I get peace most of the time since my family be out most of the day and I be the main one home, so less distractions for me ^^.

I generally play more on the go, as I take my 3DS everywhere with me. Everywhere. No joke - I take it with me when I go to university, to my grandparents' house, to the beach, to funerals.... ok not really, but I do spend more time playing it away from home.

I play mostly at home simply because I don't get out a lot. However, when I have long bus trips (since I have to do an 8 hours trip to see my family) I'm happy to have it on the go as well. So it always depend, when I take the city bus I'm happy to have it too and play it from time to time.

I play mostly at home, but it is a matter of having to plug the charger in so to continue playing. Anyway, I also play on the go, specially because my girlfriend lives far away from my hometown and without the 3ds the travel turns to be really dull and long. I take it anywhere. I love doing so

I often play my 3DS at home because I'm at home a lot and go out very rarely. I wouldn't personally take it out due to the risk of it getting stolen, lost or misplaced.

I play my 3ds at home mostly. I hardly go out except for school, and sometimes when I go out, I do not take my 3ds. Only use it for Streetpass which I have never got. Don't play it outside very much.

I play my 3ds mostly at home only. I do not take it to school because it is not allowed plus there is a 100 % guarantee that it will be stolen. I play it on vacation, but not on short travels like going to your friends house 2 miles away

Same as most people here. I mostly play at home. BUT it doesn't defeat the portable argument since I actually play it everywhere at home : on my bed, in front of my desktop, in the toilets, ...
And I play it at school too sometimes, during breaks.
