I kind of agree. I wouldn't say awkward (there are hundreds of people playing on their phones everywhere) but the screen gets harder to see and it can be harder to concentrate on the game. Also, don't play on your 3DS while walking (believe me, it's a bad idea).

Well, phones are understandable, they're everywhere like you said, but a 3DS is something l almost never see outside or public, which is why l feel awkward. Especially when l'm at either someone's house or having company. So awkward... I also agree to the last part. I never play my 3DS while walking.

I actually see quite some 3DS-es (3DSs? 3DS's?) in public, but that's only at school. We should start a 3DS movement! If everyone uses them in public it's no longer awkward! Or...we could wait to see what Nintendos deal with DenA is going to do. Mobile Nintendo games might solve the problem too.

In my school, almost no one either likes, owns, or knows Nintendo at all since they'ree all interested in Xboxes or PS2s which l know almost nothing about. What do you mean by starting a 3DS movement? And whose DenA?

The 3DS movement was a joke. DenA and Nintendo are working together to bring Nintendo games to mobile platforms (IOS, Android, Windows phones). DenA is a company that makes stuff for mobile platforms. This is what their website says: http://dena.com/intl/press/2015/03/nintendo-and-dena-form-business-and-capital-alliance.html But for something more readable I'd say you should google it. :)

I play it mostly at home in fact, I hardly ever play it anywhere but home. I dunno I just dont. But saying that I'm not saying I don't at it at all, I do. I also think I play it at home more as I have internet to play certain games but I might not in other places.

I tend to play it more at home, I do take it out with me, but it's mainly for the streetpasses (you would do the same if you could get tons of streetpasses) I feel as though I have more time at home to play it since I take it to school, so I play it most at home.

I don't really take my 3DS anywhere with me, so 99.9% of the time I'm playing it, it's at home. If there's a rare occasion when I have it out with me and I have to wait somewhere, yeah, I'll go ahead and play it because why not, but otherwise, I just leave it at home.

In honesty, i do take my 3ds with me on the go, but i only play on it at home. The reason i take my 3ds with me is because i like collecting play coins and watching my step counter go up( i don't know why i enjoy seeing how many steps i took, i just do XD). Generally i feel that, unlike a phone, a 3ds is not something you would see in public much and i feel like it is worth a lot more to me, and there is a risk of it being stolen or damaged if i take it out of my pocket/backpack, as the flip screen could be bent or broken off, i hate the thought of my 3ds being broken in two >o>. i also feel a bit self conscious taking my 3ds out as i feel like i am being judged negatively and having slurs thrown at me through glares across the street or at my local town centre, and being self conscious makes it hard for me to concentrate, so recently i have just stopped bothering in the first place

That's a great start! I only play when I'm on the train, in a car or in a plane since I won't bump into anyone, but the last time I felt awkward about that is long ago. After all, what's so incredibly weird about a 3DS?

For the most part,I tend to play my 3DS at home, and only sometimes when I feel like I want to at other places.I'm mainly aware that I need to be more careful with my 3DS on the outside,so things like letting it fall down by accident or being stolen do not happen by unawareness. The outside world can be dangerous, you know.
For the most time,I just mind my own business when playing on my 3DS in public, ignoring possible criticizing for my Nintendo liking, and I mostly am fine with whatever game I brought with me.If I were to pick between a phone or a DS/3DS to play games on the go,the DS/3DS would most certainly be my choice, although, phones are rather necessary in case if your parents call, for example, but it's just an example.

I play my 2DS more at home because I feel more comfortable playing it at home. Plus it's safer to play to it at your house. I also do play it @ school when I have free time/breaks. So, in my opinion, you should play your 3DS, 2DS,etc. mostly at home.

Personally, I play at home and on the go about the same amount, at least equal at home and school. Me and my brother even play walking back home from school. Other than school though, I usually play more at home because I also have my computer and music there as well.

I honestly play my 3DS more when I'm at home because I don't like to fiddle with my internet settings constantly when I want to play online with friends. It's easier to just play where I can play longer and more comfortably than it is to play somewhere random.
