Do you think pokemon games today are made too easy?

Well, that's just my opinion, but yes, the recent games are easier. Maybe because as said by @Spinnerweb, the EXP Share levels up the whole party now, but, I think the other causes are also the Wi-Fi and maybe GameFreak's choices. Wi-Fi makes trading easier (thus easier to get 6IVs or powerful Pokémons) while I think that GF made the games easier so those who want to start with the licence will be able to get adapted to the game easily.

Hence why we're thinking the latest games are somehow too easy. It's almost all about the Wi-Fi features and GameFreak's choices.

I dunno I think it remained pretty much the same. Exp. Share is very helpful. The part which is irritating iis you get ALL non-event legendaries in ORAS which makes it kinda frustrating.

It is actually made easy if you play it making a normal team. If you are making a competitive team, it is a bit hard.

As I recieved the high levelled Glalie with a Mega stone from the demo version as soon as I bought Omega Ruby, it was waay too easy. I could, if I wanted to, beat the first 3-4 gyms with only him, even though he didn't even obey me yet, as he simply was too powerful.
But the pokémon games, at least the main series, has always been easy, so it's not really anything new.

EDIT: The recent change on how exp. share works has indeed made it all a lot easier.

The Pokemon games are really easy, too easy for me. That's why I play nuzlockes instead. But i think the game are easy because they are for children that are getting into the game. If they were too hard the children couldn't play them.

But the recent games are too easy. The EXP share is broken...

My opnion is: yes. The battles got easier. They got easier because now most of the trainers have only one Pokemons. Some Pokemons got Mega Evolution that makes the Pokemon games much easier, You are getting Exp. Share in the 5th city, that can give ALL of your party Pokemons Exp. and not only one Pokemon, You can do events for good Pokemons, Trades, and much more. The Pokemon games are for kids, so Nintendo and GF wanted to do Pokemon games easier. It's not only GEN 6, It came from GEN 3. I bet Pokemon Sapphire in a week and Pokemon Leaf Green in 1-2 weeks.

It's kinda hard to say either way. Yes, they're getting easier, but they're also getting more difficult at the same time.

Would you care to elaborate that? What's getting easier and what's getting harder?

What I meant was the EXP Share makes it easier to train the entire team all at once, but there's the fact that Steel lost two resistances.
