Do you think the 3DS XL should have had two Circle Pads?

Two circle pads wouldn't fit the game design and why would you want two?The circle pad pro can give you another circle pad so then if a 3ds XL had two circle pads and if you add the circle pad pro then you would have three that's just insane.

No, the 3ds is fine as it is. Having one is fine as it is. 2 would be difficult to handle. However, I think that after the new 3ds, they will introduce something which is going to have both the screens 3d and have 2 circle pads

That's already the New 3DS...

Oh, I did not know about that. You see, I know very less about these things and I don't care to know much about these things. I don't think I'm going to get a new 3ds or "the" new 3ds anyway. Thanks for your help!!!:):):)

Yup, I think it should have been there since the beginning instead of selling an add-on... Tried to play a One Piece game without it and it was awful. I think I would have enjoyed the Monster Hunter demo as well way more with 2 circle pads. I'm glad they decided to put it on the new 3DS, this is a wise move.

I think it would have been useful if it was on the 3ds from the begging. If they decided to include a new circle pad they'd have to make a couple games that support it to really kick the new design into high gear. It really all depends on the games that use it and how well they do it.

I feel like its the PSP all over again. A second analog/circlepad should have been included a long time ago. I mean the N3DS proved that they could do it, so why did they not add that from the start? Regular 3DS CPPs being quite rare (at least where I am) means some can't simply go and get one.

No. There aren't that many games that support it and it wouldn't feel right with the design of the Circle Pad.

With their next handheld, however, it better have two control sticks or I'll be mad.

Hey I predicted the New 3DS a few months before it came out.

There is a wee tiny circle pad on the New 3DS. I have heard it is not working very well.
It isn't supported by many games anyway, so it is better than nothing. Monster Hunter will be easier to play that way (I'm so bad with the demo as I cannot turn around freely, so having a second pad should help).

Na. If the 3ds would have had another circle pad, the ABXY buttons would be quite below and would be difficult to handle. And you already have the Cirple Pad Pro, which solves all your problems.

I agree the ABXY buttons will be too low to reach. Most Nintendo games you use ABXY the most. However I like Nintendo's C-stick, people may say it hurts and its bad but in my experience I loved it it worked really well!

I have heard of those kinds of comments too . It would be really great to left-handed players and after reconsideration of it , I wouldn't see why not ? However , at first thought , it really wouldn't seem like a DS picture that I would have imagined , if you know what I meant . I am sure Nintendo wasn't thinking of this at all either . It would have been a better decision now that left handed players can play happily . But that also brings that it probably didn't happen so that people had to buy Cidle Pad Pros so that Nintendo makes some more money.

The 3ds does not really need 2 circle pads for most games like pokemon. But it really wouldn't hurt to add another circle pad. I guess it would help for 3D games like Super Mario 3D land and other stuff.
