Does anyone still play their old pokemon games?

I always wondered if people still play old pokemon games since people just talk about X/Y and OR/AS
 
I recently found my copy of Pokémon Pearl so I've been playing that for a while actually xD. But yea xy and oras is the main talk mostly because (what I think) they're the most recent and they have online interaction which friends can connect online and battle/trade together. But whenever I get a chance I'll play some of the old Pokémon games too for nostalgia
 
I still play my Pokemon White Version still because mainly it was one of my most memorable games that I got and it was my first game in cartridge ( I usually play using flashcard and ROM ) .

I still believe that the excitement is never over , even though no more Wifi battles and I still really enjoy playing it :D
 
At least I know people still play their old games☺ I got pokemon diamond and white which I continue to play them.
 
not anymore, but used to always be behind a year or 2-3 (or more) on the newest game's.
 
Sometimes, when I am tired of playing my 3ds games, I often start playing my copy of Pokemon Platinum, the first pokemon main series game that I played. But I have played even older pokemon games like red or gold Version, using ROMS. It is interesting to see how much the franchise have changed.

Recently I have been playing my Soul Silver game on a Nuzlocke. Other than that, I will usually return to checking out the spinoffs and my old pokemon games. My most played games from those generations are Blue, Crystal, Sapphire and Platinum.

I occasionally pick up Pokemon platinum and Pokemon Ranger/Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, but I now mostly play Pokemon Omega Ruby and Rumble World now. I am doing a Nuzlocke and normal and hack Pokemon games on GBA4ios

I replay a lot of the pokemon games from previous generations. I play some spin off games such as red's rescue team and pokemon stadium. I replay the main ganme series normally in a wedlocke fashion (and sometimes a nuzlocke/wonderlocke)

I replayed HeartGold a couple of time, but to be honest now that I got used to the big screen on my 3DS XL I can't stand my small DSi screen anymore. :p Plus, I know the story by heart now which makes it a bit boring. I might restart the game in a few years but not now, I still got lots to play.

I do play my old games occasionally, but I have to admit I'm on XY/ORAS more. I have lost my gameboy when I moved years ago so the very first games I play on emulators and I do miss the old games and I have restarted them a few times.

I still play my old Pokemon games because they are the only Pokemon games I have. The one's I have are Pear, Gold, Black & White and 2 others I can't remember. That's primarily why I'm here. I have limited resources and money to get more games. So far my library is about 2 games made for the 3DS and 16 for the DSi. I really hope this website is honest and give Eshop credits. Well I guess I've said enough to get me a few coins and get my story out there for this thread.

No I really do not play my old Pokemon games. The only time I use them is when I trade Pokemon. Also I might use them to transfer to Pokemon bank when I traded. I only play the new Pokemon games that come out. Right now I only play Pokemon alpha sapphire.

It is :) (I already got 3 games thanks to this place :D) Did you ever read the proof page with everyone who got eShop credit? It just takes a while to gather enough coins so winning a code in a contest is more likely to happen.

I have many games from previous generation which i used play even these days as I am not able to forget my old games as I used play those amazing pokemon games for hours which was a really fun and may it is , Each and every pokemon game is very special to me :)

I read the proof page after posting that comment when I did a little bit more digging around. Also pokemon pro, is that a character from Beyblade in your profile picture?

Sometimes I pick up and play some of the older games I used to own, but I've lost most of them now... I only have Platinum and Black left from the older gen Games. I'm Nuzlocking Black right now, whilst I recently replayed Platinum with a very different team, plus I'm looking to do another playthrough of Platinum (possibly a Locke, but I haven't decided yet) at some point.
