Earthbound!!!!

I finally bought Earthbound! It's SO much fun to play(considering I hate playing RPGs because they all seem
copy paste) is there anything in the story I need to know?, I'm at the part where I need something to get
rid of the pencil statue in front of the Happy Happiest colony but nothings happening, if there's more like that do I wait for something,find something or level up?

Have you got rid of the statue? If not then you have to talk to apple kid and pay him to build you a machine to get rid of the pencil statue so you could carry on with your destiny. If you enjoy the game and love the franchise then you should get an english translation of Mother 3 and play it on a GBA if you have one. If you can't find an english translation of the game try to look up on the internet how to make a Mother 3 game cartridge, It's worth playing and it introduces new game mechanics and other things within the game.

I played Mother 3(Unfortunatly in Japanese) it was awesome but I had to use a walkthrough because I couldn't read anything and couldn't almost do even the easiest thing until I memorized the symbols, pictures ect.Then it got a little easier.As for Earthbound I made it to Scaraba and am trying to get in the pyramid.Mother series IS SO much fun!

I know, did you know there's an english translation for Mother 3? I'm playing it right now and I'm stuck at chapter 4 when you play as Lucas and you have to go somewhere which I don't know and I'm quite lost. I just can't wait for Mother 4 it looks pretty great and it has new game mechanics which I hope are much better since it's sorta hard to master the musical hit combo thingy in Mother 3.

I bought Earthbound 2 days ago on the Wii u virtual console and I love it soo much. I beated that game 10 times when I was using the Snes emulator but couldn't played it because my labtop needs repair so I went ahead and bought it so I can play it again and it was worth it.

Earthbund is the best of the series since it has Ness and the gameplay/story is freaken awesome. Just with nintendo added the running mechanic in Earthbound instead of introducing it i Mother 3. Although the game was pretty old it still has it great things and I can't wait for Mother 4 I heard that it's gonna be pretty great and has new stuff and a whole new cast of characters. Not to mention the whole new worlds that you explore alongside the PK powers they you get.

Thanks for the advice but I think I've made my way into the game I technically learned where to go next and I made the 16 hit combo once only which was really awesome but I try to get the hits since it's on an emulator which slows down the game controls I think. Also I think the developers (the fans that are making this game) still haven't came up with an exact release date and it's on pc so I guess it will run smoothly.

Yeah that might be the only reason I learned it I ask had a bad emulator so it when actually working right would kinda play music slow and garbled it helped for some fights but others.... one more question do you think Giygas (Giegue in Earthbound Zero) should've been in Smash Bros? He seems perfect for a fighting game and his Final Smash would be his Unstable form!!

I love Earthbound! I originally played it on the computer when I was little. I love the thought of battling using ESP. I remember feeling so excited moving on to the next levels and beating the the evil characters.

Well not Earthbound but Mother. It's Mother 4 and it's being made by fans for all people to play and it's going to be available for PC only @Jeff The Killer.

Same here since there are new mechanics and much more awesome stuff in the game. I also like the new protagonist.
