Favorite gen?

Second gen for me! First time the little Pokemon sprites had animations when encountered. (Crystal)

Gen 3 is my favorite because Poekmon Emerald was the best game ever. It had so much stuff even post-game stuff that you could never stop playing it. It also had Rayquaza one of my favorite Legendary pokes. So, yeah it's my favorite gen.

I would have to say gen 3 is the best because I felt like it was the first gen if not the only one where the bad guys actually succeed at doing something and you're the one who has to stop it, so when team Aqua and magma unleashed kyogre and groudon they realized it was a terrible idea and ask you to stop it for them, it kinda gives you the feeling that you're actually a hero.

I have to say the latest Gen. I've never been online in Pokemon before, so it feels so open to me.

So far it's been the Sinnoh one, loved Diamond/Pearl/Platinum although this new Pokemon X/Y which I got a few days ago for my birthday is looking really good. Spent 3 hours and only just beat the first gym because I've been loving both the new region and new pokemon to find.

I really liked Generation 4 because it is the first one i played me and my brother played it for hours in the night, we were crazy about it but my brother growed out of it i really miss the times but about the favourite gen. After Sinnoh i started playing B1/B2 and then pokemon X, i found a gba emulator on my ipad and started playing emerald and ruby, i really enjoyed them and i can't wait for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Favourite generation is the first..it shows somewhat the first pokemon that really different to the latest one that sometimes looking not so nice..but no so bad it just lacking something from the earlier one..for gen 2 it is good like having three powerful starter ,cyndaquil,chikorita and totodile..hope it will remake a better version of these gen again like pokemon alpha sapphire and omega ruby..

Gen 6 is excellent (mainly because of all the revisions and all that), though the main games were pretty eh.

Ignoring those, Gen 4 is my favourite mainly because it had Platinum and some amazing remakes.

I like gen.6 the most. For some reason, I found X/Y's feel, story, and overall fun factor to be the best in the series thus far, and it even beat out gen.3, which was hogging my #1 spot for years. Aside from just X/Y, though, the Ruby/Sapphire remakes are shaping up to be even better than the originals, so that may immortalize 6th as my all time #1 favorite gen.

The first pokemon game I played was pokemon platinum Version, and I just love that generation! I mean, many pokemon from generation 1, 2 and 3 got awesome evolutions, like electivire, magmortar, honchcrow, weavile and many more. I also like the region, Sinnoh. Generation 2 comes at a Close second.

2nd gen was too easy I was on the 7th gym when my quilava was lvl 32 1st gen was a little too hard for me 3rd gen was perfect 4th gen had a good storyline and the good addition of a poketch and 5th gen also had a good storyline 6th gen was a little dull so I must say that the 3rd gen is perfect for me

I'd have to say 3rd gen is my favorite. Emerald is my favorite game. It brought new mechanics to the game like diving and secret bases. This gen also has my favorite Pokemon, Slaking. This was the first gen that I had leveled up a Pokemon to lvl 100.
