It's screens and stuff in general, it's been proven they effect eyesight, just stronger in some then others.
The 3D doesn't help >.>

I think so, yes since I got a short eyesight since I was a kid (and it getting worse, not that much anymore though).
Not really sure if it is the case since I always play game, don't know how different will my eyesight be without games.

Well, they created the 2DS 'cause the 3D affects kids' vision... but maybe this isn't only for children, but for people with a sensitive eye too '-'

The 3D in general is just bad. Hard to focus, with little reward. It did play a good role in Super Mario 3D Land, with some areas requiring you to turn on the 3D to get a good visual of the area that you were in. However, playing games and watching TV can cause shortsightedness.

I do like the 3d very much on my 3ds xl, however, it does affect eyesight.I think it does cuz when my 3ds arrived, I used to play it very much and it affected my eyesight a bit... If you play 3d in controlled quantity, nothing will happen

Depends on a lot of factors like what foods you eat, if you get enough vitamins, how long you continuosly play games and stuff. I think tv and video games might be the reason for why I have glasses, but then again I see people on twitch doing 8 hours of video games or more every day and their eyesight is perfectly fine
