ganondorf or captain falcon

So who is more perfered captain falcon or ganondorf because they are kinda used online when are used about it and they are kinda the same except in speed but let's get more in detail captain falcon do sent have super armor so that give ganon 1 point and ganon side B doesn't uppercut so that 1 captain falcon one point but ganon up is better than cf but cf down B is great for range
 
Hmm, I think that I personally prefer Captain Falcon to Ganondorf, Ganondorf is really slow but more powerful, even though they basically have the same moves, give or take a few moves/animations. I hate slow characters like Ganon and Ike since I would die since I suck at the game (since I don't have it lol) and get hit lots
 
I think I'm gonna go with captain falcon. I like his moves much more than ganondorf. I love using the falcon punch. To me ganondorf's moves are very boring to me. I rarely use ganondorf when I play smash bros. I also prefer faster cbaracters than ganondorf. I like captain falcon more too because I like how his character model in smash bros looks like. I think most people choose captain falcon over ganondorf.

Captian Falcon is a more aggressive character than Ganondorf. Ganondorf is a bit tricky, but most players just spam the side special and make themselves predictable. I like Captian Falcon more because he still is pretty strong, considering how fast he is. Plus, he has great meteor smash potential. I used to main him last year until I moved on to another character, but Falcon is the best all around.
 
Gonna go with Falcon on this one. One of the Top 10 for sure, great dash grab, most of his moves come out quick and are kill moves, and he's crazy stylish.

Granted, I personally love Ganondorf a lot more. Anybody who's played with me (Roy and Robert here so far) can probably tell I'm drawn most to fun mid-to-low tiers and Ganon's one of the most fun. Ganon, though their moves are similar, is an entirely different character than Falcon. Going ham as Ganon is usually a bad idea. He's slow, reactionary, and relies entirely on good reads and responses to opponent screw-ups. Not to mention there's just something about raw power that's very appealing.

Captain Falcon is a better character in my opinion. Honestly I prefer fast characters over slow ones. They have an identical moveset and it varies between the player's playstlye. If you like strong characters, then go for Ganondorf. If you like fast characters, then try to main Captain Falcon.
 
This is a very difficult question. If skill level is the same Ganondorf would win but to the point where Captain Falcon can take advantage of his speed and aim over Ganondorf's Ganoncide and attacks then Captain Falcon would wwin and Ganondorf would have less control of the matchup. Sure Ganondorf is a heavy character however Ganondorf would need to out read Capt. Falcon more in order to win (because he can trade with most moves) and Captain Falcon has more control over the matchup so basically it's up to Capt. Falcon to be defensive and punish lag frames and in general the faster character wins regardless of kill power because some characters can just punish you for trying to recover in some ways (not just on the ledge but getting there too).

captain falcon is an amazing character with his power and speed but i have to go with ganon. sure ganon is slower and his recovery is just a tad bit worse than captain falcon but he has the most satisfying moves. hitting someone with a warlock punch, meteor smash or up tilt are some of the most satisfying things you can do. his meteor smash is one of the best in the game (behind Mario's). And his up tilt is a great edge guarding move. And many people complain about his side B although i do admit that many people spammed it back then it can be very useful for killing someone with one stock because you dont die first. so yeah that is my opinion in why ganon is better but i still love captain falcon just not as much as ganon;)

Captain falcon for me also to prove that fact is one time I did tourney mode I lost to captain falcon and it looked like he had expert potential with that character and I wanted to see the next match, the finals between him and ganondorf. The match finally ended so I could watch the replay but captain falcon won but I still watched it and they both did a lot of combos but captain falcon was just pulling off so many it is no wonder I lost because even if I try I don't think I could be that good. They both looked like they were experts with ganondorf and captain falcon and captain falcon eventually won but I don't think this proves anything but I thought I'd give it a shot but like I said I prefer captain falcon because he is a faster less powerful and more easy to control ganondorf.

I prefer Ganondorf. Imo, Captain Falcon is extremely overrated and Im a big LoZ fan anyway.

Ganondorf kills are so much more satisfying:p

The thing is that they have similar moveset but a compleatly different play stile. Captain falcon is a perfect rushdown character with speed, combo throws and kill power. But ganon is slow, ganon deals more damage then falcon and has even more kill potential. When you play ganon you want your oponent to make mistakes to warlock punch them or something. And even the shieldbraker from ganon is a own thing.

I like captain falcon. Like @Darky said, Captain Falcon is a very fast and powerful choice where ganandorf on the other hand is slow and even more powerful. I personally try to avoid these characters as for I am very bad with both of them. I'm trying to get better though ^.^

I prefer ganondorf because of his warlock punch, his side b, his up tilt, and his spike are just op. Even though he's slow, the warlock punch can be used to get some super armor and get captain falcon easily. Falcon is fast and has a better recovery but ganondorf is just much more satisfying.

For me it has to be Gannondorf. He definitely packs a punch. He may be slow but once you play him a few times you get use to him and how to control him ,aside from his abilities and what i consider OP damage, It is always nice to play a bad guy sometimes! Don't let all the good guys get the credit!

Points on why Gannondorf is better than Cpt Falcon:

- Relatively fast compared to other characters (IE: Bowser/DK)

- All of his moves potentially KO, and at significantly lower percentages than any other character, which is a plus.

- Great moves to counter top tier characters.

- The best way to play Ganondorf is to deal a lot of damage (Which is easy, considering that he is among the strongest characters in the game IMHO), and quickly KO before your opponent has a chance to respond to this damage.

And.. that is why I like Gannondorf over Cpt Falcon :thumbsup:

Personally, I'd prefer Captian falcon because he has the advantage in terms of speed. If you put Captain Falcon against Ganondorf, Old' Ganon's probably not gonna land a hit. But I do prefer Ganondorf's Final Smash, Beast Ganon, as he rampages across the stage doing MASSIVE damage and knockback.

I was never really ever good at Ganondorf really :p so I prefer Captain Falcon. While Ganondorf has more potential in easily netting some kills, he's really slow and I don't like slow characters much. Captain Falcon on the other side is really quick and in attacking so he's more versatile .

I remember the first time I tried Ganondorf in Brawl I thought he'd be cool, but I just couldn't even land a hit on my friend xD

That's why you like ganondorf more that's biased. Also the captain falcon has better combos, and meteor smash potential all ganondorf has is an extra hitbox and a very unfair broken way to win.

I have always preferred Ganondorf, but I'm always all about the heavies in the game. He's not fast, sure. But if you land a hit, it *really* counts. And I prefer single hits at a time over combos in the end. More satisfying for me, but to each his own.

This isn't to say that I don't love me some Captain. Nobody can say no to The Knee!
