I have always preferred Ganondorf, but I'm always all about the heavies in the game. He's not fast, sure. But if you land a hit, it *really* counts. And I prefer single hits at a time over combos in the end. More satisfying for me, but to each his own.

This isn't to say that I don't love me some Captain. Nobody can say no to The Knee!
the knee is real!

I like captain call on because he is fast, strong, and has pretty good defense. It's not hard for him to get back on the stage after he falls or gets knocked off. His moves are unique and his final smash is really damaging. His taught a are ok but what I like about him most is his combo ability. That's who I think is better.

Pretty sure everyone has the same "defense." Just different weights which can vary with knockback.

I prefer Ganondorf personally.
I do think Captain Falcon is an enjoyable and entertaining fighter to both play and see in combat for fun,but when in competitive play,I think he's a bit hard to control, especially for grabbing after runnins, and landing the "Knee of Justice".I'll admit,I do use him a lot in Training mode just to land a satisfyingly strong Front-Air,or Meteor Smash by Up-Tlit or Down-Air. :p
Before,I did use to not really like Ganondorf because of his slowish speed, but after getting to know him more,I would use him sometimes as a side-main,as he has incredible power to manage at early damages, and generally feels more awesome to play as the King of Evil himself.Even more when you land an Up-Tlit or Warlock Punch correctly on an opponent. :D

He can maneuver in the air more quickly than Ganondorf so he can recover much easily. But every Final Smash that hits is pretty much damaging. Ganondorf however, can kill very early, especially with a reverse Warlock Punch that can K.O. as low as 40% and a side special that works on last stocks.
