I like them both, for X and Y the Gen 6 graphics were cool.
The Older Bit graphics were great too, but as far as entertainment wise I think Gen 6 graphics are better.
Whadda you think?

To me anyone would say that really Generation 6 has the best of the best graphics so far and you just can't say it isn't . I really loved the Older Bit graphics because being one of the most original of pokemon gameplay style , It was really a decent type and everyone enjoyed it . I would like to say both of them but that wasn't on your poll  , but my poll goes for the Generation 6 because it really fits in this generation of technologies , etc.

I liked the new graphics better. While the old pixel graphics are all nostalgia-inducing, The Gen 6 graphics are definitely a step in the right direction :D

Graphics does not determine whether or not I'll buy a game as it is one of the worst possible arguments (for me) to persuade a person to buy a game, however that said if a game was released in both forms I'd go for Gen 6 as it is aesthetically pleasing

I like gen 6 graphics more. When I go back and play the old games it's hard for me to play because of the graphics. Playing the Gen 6 games is more fun because you can see the cool graphics. But the old games have a nostalgic feeling and seeing those old graphics brings back good memories.

I love the new graphics and howbit makes everything look more realistic. However, retro style grapics are always the best with No colour it colour.

Uh,hard to tell. I like the new ones, especially for the pokémon itself,it makes it so much better,so real. But when out of the battle I felt a lot the areas were kinda...empty? Like there are a lot of details in the older bit versions,or at least everything looks the right size, not too big,not to small...and then when you see something like the Parfum Palace from X/Y,so big but so simple,it's weird...
I still don't have ORAS,so i can't give a full opinion. Some people say it's waaaay better than the previous ones.

Na i choose the gen 6 graphics the old graphics you were looking a bit fat and you couldn't see your side and plus you could have easily hacked your game and all that and then something would happen to your screen and the graphics would turn black.Definitely prefer the 3d thing and all that.

Gen 6 graphics because it's much more better seeing rocks/trees block your way in 3d.

Lol, just kidding. Gen 6 graphics because it makes the game feel more realistic and explorable. In the 2d games, it felt kind of linear. The random angles in pokemon x are interesting. (Except lumiose city) -_- Also, surfing on a Lapras is awesomeeee.

I honestly preferred the Gen 5 Graphics, the sprites were just really cool imo :bag:

And I hate Umbreon's 3D Model :<

I like the Gen 6 graphics more. There is so much detail, and takes advantage of the 3DS' 3D capabilities. Battles are much dynamic, and the cut-scenes are amazing to watch. The old graphics are alright but you can't be stuck wearing nostalgic goggles all your life. :p

I speak for just the Pokemon sprites when I say this.

My hobby as a sprite artist initially made me repulsed at the idea that they converted the games into 3D, but over time I realise how much more freedom 3D allows to express the Pokemon's designs and behaviour much better than any sprite could. I especially love how they nail the sugimori artwork of Pokemon that you see, e.g. Eevee.

On the other side, I really enjoy looking at how the pokemon evolve in their sprite art over the years gone by. It's interesting and fun looking at those old Red/Green sprites and then watching them stabilise to something more in line with the official artwork. Some pokemon go through different changes through the generations, like Arbok who changes it's pattern depending on the region, Jynx who goes from a black color to purple, and koffing who actually had it's skull and crossbones swapped with where it's face was for a short time.

At the end of the day, I like both styles for their advantages and their flaws.

Yes, I think that Generation 6 graphics are better, who can argue that they aren't? However, older graphics for me (Gen 4) meaning Sousilver, Pearl, Diamond, etc. bring extreme nostalgia. I feel like gen 4 music is also better, and oooh uff if they made Sinnoh remakes...

You'll be saying the same by the time Gen 8 is around :p

Well let´s see:
Gen 1´s graphics were pretty much horrible
Gen 2 made it look like what it was supposed to look like
Gen 3 & Gen 4 just cut the pixelated style away
Gen 5 made the sprites pixelated again
and well Gen 6 has 3d models

I´d say 5 would had my favorite graphics
It kinda looked cool at the time I played White...........

I been waiting forever for graphics like the ones in X and Y. There's more detail, animation and just cooler. Certain things look cooler now due to the graphics such as mega evolutions . I love playing battles in 3D and I can't see myself going back to the older look. I'm glad they finally took the leap.

I like both, i mean, I like all types of graphics for pokemon games. Though I liked Gen 1 and gen 2 retro style graphics, it sometimes lead to problems recognising things. And gen 1 had lack of colour in it...

Depends. I liked Gen 4's graphics better because in Gen 5, it was cool that the Pokemons were moving, but Nintendo really wasn't good at moving graphics so they looked plixelated and ugly :( but I didn't complain because they were MOVING!
