Yeah that's the only bad thing. And why hate a system that can be used as a weapon?

I personally love the 2DS, the way it handles, the button layout , and the way it looks. Sure you can't put it in your pocket and it can't shut. But that's actually a good that it can't shut, so it doesn't fall right in the middle of a game your playing. I don't even use 3D anyway so either way it's okay. But I prefer the 2DS. Oh and it's cheap. I got mine at target during the summer when it was only 99$.

Lol I thought I was the only one hating on the 2ds . :rotfl: The 2ds after seeing one of my friends have one it was not as bad as I expected the one thing that I like about it was definitely the durability except that its not so portable on the other hand its quite weird in the nintendo family but its great for the budget:thumbsup:

People despise the 2DS because they know about the intended audience and why it was built. (Entry-level gaming and for a younger audience) I personally don't find the 2DS to be bad at all, it's actually comfortable to hold. If there are some budget problems, there is nothing wrong with a 2DS. I have a couple of friends who broke their 3DS's and switched to a 2DS for the reason of it being more durable.

The 2ds is not what you would say for playing like a human to me since the button are on the top and as well as the controls plus the screen is not triangular shaped but has the curve on the ends.I don't like games which look like that or don't like when the buttons are on the top.

Know what? You can't say that the 2ds is bad or the 2ds is good. It is liked by some people and disliked by others. To me, I like and dislike the system both. I hate it doesn't have 3d. However, I "somewhat" like the flat design but controlling it becomes difficult aand the portability is reduced too.

I don't have a 2DS, but i heard a lot things about it. It's controversial handheld, now there are only speculations why it was maked. This question is asked especially to persons who have a 2DS.

Some persons think that 2DS look like this:

One of this persons is me :)

I got myself a 2DS and have defended it ever since. It was the most comfortable console in the 3DS family at the time (Now I have a New 3DS XL that is more comfortable though) and it cost me one third, or less, than what the 3DS would have costed me, even if I got the 3DS at a good deal.
It filled its function, in a great manner, and while I kinda do get the dislike for it (It really looks horribly uncomfortable), most people who hate it doesn't seem to have tried it.
I think the hate is also in the same manner as those who hate on "casual gamers" as not being "real gamers", because you buy a cheaper version of the console.

I was going to get a 2DS but there was a sale on the 3DS at my local store and so both systems were the same price, and the 3DS being able to fold meant it could fit into the smaller pocket of my backpack easier. I played both systems when making my decision and other than the obvious 3D or lack of, I couldn't really see any difference when using them. I think the main reason for hate is that people don't like the fact that the 2DS was tagged as a more child-friendly system as this makes them feel like they aren't getting the same thing. (even though they are basically).

Like I said before I couldn't tell them apart really and I would happily have a 2DS.
