In Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I was hunting a Rathalos and I had already carted twice (or lost 2 lives out of 3). Then, I finally struck a blow and got the monster limping. I decided to set a trap, but the Rathalos just flew off and I had to chase it. Once I tracked it down, it OHKOed me and I failed the quest. Owned and then got owned.
