How much do you ACTUALLY know about your 3DS system?

Very True, Most Homebrew only exploits run in userland or ARM 11 code which doesn't modify system or NAND, so they are all ok, Smashbroshax needs linux which I'm sure most people don't use, and CFW bricked my last 3ds because it corrupted my sysNand

Well I use linux, I have it on 3 of my PC. And that's the operating system I used to code Super Smash Bros Open using vim and scripts I wrote to convert images into hex in two different formats and in original and flipped version. Still, I don't understand smashbroshax so they really didn't try to make it understandable...

Maybe a 2 at most. I only know the 'Easter Eggs' of the 3DS per se. If you ask me about the hardware jargon, 4get it... xD

2/10. Too much water.
No, but really, I never got into the hacking part of the 3ds :p, I'll only if I somehow get homebrew working on mine.

Ehm... Well. 1 over 10. I bought my first DS a week ago:whistle:

2 or 3 :p

I really don't know much about my nintedo 3ds xl ,even there are few app in my 3ds xl that even i haven't touched tilll now ,the only thing i know is to play games on it.
even i haven't used l and r button in anyone of it game which is really kinda strange.

I know like... nothing specifically about the mechanics of my 2DS.
Subjects like, how to re-format SDHC cards, backup, and how to generally prevent data loss, I'm good at.. and I'm really finicky about managing my data, but that's pretty much it. Homebrew entirely goes over my head.
Since I don't think most of my knowledge has to do with the actual device, probably like a 2 :x

I'm a 9 now. I learned so much today from the conference :)

I give myself a 1 1/2.
For regular usage it's easy but i have no idea about the gimmicks you're speaking of.

I don't know much about 3DS homebrew apart from exploits like rxtools, features like emunand, backups and installing custom themes and applications, all which I haven't even looked into much

I know more about Wii homebrew though, despite just using 'low level' stuff, like emulators, user-made games and patchers

So you're maybe a 4?

Probably
I think your a 7
I think that's a bit generous, especially when I pretty much just do the basics

I am very protective with my stuff - I bought a new Wii for £25 or £30 to keep my original Wii, with all the saves and everything, untouched
I keep an eye on what I do to my Wii and check things out so I don't screw up the NAND

I was talking to Gamer4647
I'm a 9 after that conference. I learned a lot.

Megalegacy I don't think your a 9, maybe an 8, Do you know what Processes the HBL uses on the 3ds and about buffers and stacks?

right now id say my knowledge has about a 4 or 5 if you need a wifi chip or a motherboard replacement, a screen replacement anything to do with hardware replacement I can do it all. however starting here in a few days ill be starting my first semester in college and I'm going into computer programming so pretty soon id say itd be about a 6 or 7 and then after I finish I plan on going into design and engineering hopefully to be able to work with one of the big video game companies

I say about 6. I know how to solve certain systems, where data is located, and functions of buttons. I also know how to repair problems

Just because you program a computer, doesn't mean you know a lot about the 3DS :p
