How much do you care about your 3DS ?

But luckily my cousin gave me his DS because he doesn't play it anymore. And the hinges are broken on it so the screen flops down unless I hold it up. Just great.:(

My 3DS screen is really dirty. We've tried using screen cleaner and cloths but nothing is coming off. I didn't tell you the things that are on my screen because I don't think you'll want to know...:wtf:

Hinges Broken are the main disease of the DS Lite. Add to this the dying L and R buttons too. And, if that's not enough, also add that the upper screen turns white when you don't hold the screen carefully.
What do you get ? My DS Lite. So, I know what that feels, and it's really annoying.

Seems like my iPad screen is getting that way too...

Sometimes the L and R buttons don't work either, or any other buttons for that matter...

For me, they are really dead...
That's why that I use my 3DS for DS games that require L and R massive punching, because it's more resistant on a 3DS.

I was eating a KFC the other day and the mayo from the fillet burger, well, some of it got onto my fingers and then, guess what... On to my 3DS! That's another thing that my 3DS screen is clogged up with!

That's why I always put it in a case when I don't use mine.
It's in a case inside my case I always carry with me (exception is school of course).

You know when sometimes you got to the home menu when software is in use and click on one of the tabs, and then you go back to the hone menu and the screen freezes. I REALLY hate that. It gets me so mad, because it means that I have to take out the cartridge of the game that I'm playing and I lose all my progress!

I have a Mario and Luigi case that I use with all my 3DS games inside it. I take my 3DS to school in its case on a Monday and Tuesday, because I walk with my cousin to his house after school and I need something to do when I get there. But I do take my 3DS to Lunchtime Club at my school and people help me with games that I'm having trouble on. It's actually really quite handy! BTW, I'm having trouble with a mission in Luigi's Mansion 2 (Treacherous Mansion Boss- Ambush Manoeuvre.) I know I should really post this in an individual thread, but this forum is also for game help on 3DS games, right?! Speaking of Luigi's Mansion 2, I should really get round to registering my copy with Club Nintendo; then I can get Stars to buy Nintendo merchandise. Yay! I tried to do it the other day, actually. Unfortunately it said the code was invalid, even though I entered it correctly. Oh well...

My right hinge is broken as well. The screen flashes white if it falls too far back.

I care, well, enough for it. I don't have any hard covers for it or anything (one was supposed to come with my Resident Evil Revelations preorder but it never came  ) but I don't treat it roughly and I don't even like to leave it out in the open when I'm not playing it - I'm comfortable with it in a drawer.

This made me smile :hilarious: Good one :)

I can see that as a good thing. If you take care of the system, it will last longer. By the way, you take walks for it for play coins or just for fun?

both :D

Sometimes I do that as well :D but mostly people just bring it out to play not for the play coins on the system unless you're the type of person who likes the streetpass feature alot xD

I wipe it down when I realize it's dirty. So considering how much I play it, I wipe it off every day usually.

If it weren't for all of the downloads I have I probably wouldn't take care of it as much as I do now. The thought of losing all of this stuff is scary >.>
