by filtering out the bad ideas. you see it would have been ruined. cause if you use bad ideas for games then itll end up bad. but that is besides the point. please understand when i say ruinee, i mean that every game would be ruined by a chain effect. oot inspired mm. with the changes in oot majoras mask may never have been made. wind waker may have just been open field with nowater. twlight princess could of just taken the paining cocept of oot. i know a link between worlds would have. by this new oot every zelda game would have been ruined by a chain effect. just think of it like this. oot would have been downgraded this you can obviously tell. if thsts the case then wouldent every zelda be downgraded as well.

besides just as a refrence look at super mario 64. how big of an impact did that game have on the mario series. the whole going through diffrent levels was shown in mario sunshine, and mario galaxy. plus look at marios gameplay in all three games. the ground pound. the triple jump back flip. all of it from mario 64. so zelda would have changed drasticly from this.

I'm so glad that it did not end up like Super Mario 64 did. Ocarina of Time would be nothing without the adventure and expansive lands. I think the initially considered using the N64 disk drive to accommodate for the game's resources, but then ditched the idea when the add-on would hinder the game's sales.

I'm glad that Ocarina of Time is as it is right now. But, maybe being like Super Mario 64 could've been nice as well, maybe by doing that we could've gotten the things that Nintendo wanted like footsteps staying on the ground and other tiny details like that or maybe we could have gotten bigger or even more places to explore. But in the end I'm still glad that the game is as it is now.

But the reason they were gonna make it like sm64 was because they didn't think the cartridge could handle it. It wouldn't of been bigger worlds. It would of been a lot smaller.
