Is playstation better than xbox

They both suck for me. I don't like the exclusives so I just get a PC for third-party games.

But Microsoft have been doing better this year and last due to Phil Spencer, after that incredible screw-up of the Xbox One reveal while Sony are doing their thing, Ratchet and Clank looks cool but not enough colourful IPs for me like Nintendo has.

Moving along, here's my objective opinion as the owner of an Xbox One and future owner of a Vita.

Technically speaking, Sony's consoles have the higher specs. In terms of which exclusives are the "best", that comes down to each individual's personal taste (I.e., JRPG's more common on Sony consoles, Indies on Microsoft). So, to answer the original question, no. They're both amazing systems, and you won't go wrong with either. :cat:

There's no console I've been more excited about getting in recent memory than the PS4. My wishlist for it is the longest I'm pretty sure I've ever had in my entire life. When getting a system I usually sit down and list out five games I want for it and I've usually struggled. My PS4 list was 10 or 11 easily thanks to just Sony's stellar E3, and the list currently sits at 14.

Microsoft's most-advertised market for the 360 was for shooters, indie games, and multiplats - while I've been known to buy console games even if the PC version exists just to bolster my library, there's no way I'm doing that on a system that breaks the disc if the console is nudged even slightly. I accidentally kicked my PS2 the other day. If it was a 360, the disc would've been damaged beyond repair. I'm not sure how they got away with such poor design. On the other hand, the 360 controller is one of the best aside from a really lousy d-pad.

As far as personal experience goes, my 360 library is absolute worst of any gaming platform I own. Leaving out the stuff I hated, we're looking at:
  • MGS HD collection
  • Nier maybe - which I'll be playing as soon as it gets here in a few days
...and that's it. Should've went with a PS3.

Each console has its distinct advantages and disadvantages. For example, Xbox One has support for backwards compatibility, whereas the PS4 does not. The PS4 also has a statistically smaller software library for it than Xbox. Does it make the Xbox any better a console? No. Opinions are strictly opinions. I could sit here and tell you that the PS4 is the best thing under the sun all day, but at the end of the day it's your own thoughts that count.

That said, I personally think that the PS4 is the better console, at least at the moment. The Xbox is trying to act too much like a life controller and less like a gaming console. Not saying that the PS4 has a halo over its head (did you see that pun?) but the PS4 feels more like a gaming console to me.

Ok I had both systems now I have one the Playstation3 becAuse I bought the Xbox360 and enjoyed both systems but I preferred the PlayStation 3 more and then I play Xbox 360 for the second time and it broke yes it broke and it broke becAuse of a RED RING and I honestly have no clue really what it is but it's not related to sonic I asked him... no I didn't but it isn't and I preferred the ps3 becAuse it didn't break and I liked and was used to the system and controller and games more but that is just my opinion and all the people who replied have there own opinions so this is just my word.

Play station. I dislike Xbox's controller and games. Always a shooting game and never a game genre I enjoy

Playsation is a better console based on storage, design,applications,games,and maybe other stuff. I like xbox more because it has a better controller. If u dont really care about controllers and u care about the acuall console the anwer to this quesion is ps4 over xbox one

Ps3 over xbox 360
Ps2 over xbox 360

I like both the XBox and the Playstation. I had Playstation first and then when Playstation 2 Came out I got that one. I grew up with it so I may lean a bit toward it, but that doesn't mean XBox is bad. I got my XBox 360 about two years ago (the star wars edition where it sounds like R2D2 when you turn it on or open and close it to put the disks in). I play both of them equally now and have different types of games for each one.

Though I can say that I prefer the controllers for the Playstation. They fit easier in your hand and are easier to use than the XBox ones.

I had this discussion with my friend just yesterday, personally I think that Playstations in general are better than Xbox consoles. Even though Xbox is now days the most mentioned video game console Playstation is more quality in my opinion, it runs more smoothly, has 500GB in storage, it has better graphics, and most importantly has a wide variety of games that an Xbox One might not have. I'm going to leave it at that.

I think playstation is better because xbox had people in rage with xbox one and how it functioned. Also the presentation for the xbox one seemed to be more about television than actual games. Also the Kinect seems kinda suspicious and they also put it with every xbox one. Also the xbox one has some bad indie games that are worse than the steam and Nintendo eshop indie games combined and I'm talking about worse than the eshop game I love my pet horse.
