Let's play a Nuzlocke!

Today while I was cleaning out my drawer, I stumbled upon my collection of GBA and DS games. So I had an idea. Why not start a Nuzlocke? With this in mind I just had to decide which game to start my Nuzlocke run in, so I wanted to ask you guys for your opinions.

Spoiler: TLDR;

A run through of the game with special rules to make it hard.
Mainly:

• A Pokémon is considered dead if it faints, and is permanently boxed or released.
  
• You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in an area.

If this thread gets Positive feedback, I'll continue it by posting an update every now and then to show my progress through the Nuzlocke.

I have already started one on Emerald but I've lost once but I gave myself a "second chance" XD BTW You should do Emerald or Omega because that is what the origanal Nuzlocke was with and then to FireRed. You should really do this cause this is a great idea.

I don't have a working copy of emerald, but I do have sapphire. Or I could try to emulate it, which would work quite well as taking screenshots and such would be easier.

Soul silver is in the lead by one Point, so I suppose we'll be starting there.

I think you should! Maybe you could have a thread with your team and stuffies, and tell us who all have died
