Mario Kart 8: Rent or Buy?

I would buy it. It is really addicting and fun! You can unlock a whole bunch of different types of vehicle customizations the more you play. The DLC is cool too. Also, online play is really fun, the more people the better.

I was thinking, should I buy Mario Kart 8? I usually rent it when a lot of my friends come over, but I never really felt the urge to buy it. I beat the game in a day with my friends, so it doesn't seem to have a lot of content. I would definitely buy it if online was fun, but none of my friends own a wii u and playing with random people can get irritating. So I guess what I'm trying to ask is "should I buy mario kart 8 even though I dislike online?"

i suggest you buy it instead of renting it, i brought the game and is fun even if is single player (doesn't have to be always online) or with friends on your locals or online. i stop playing the game since i have so many games on my wii u and when ever i play with others and it never gets boring.

It would depend on how long you want it. You want to have it forever until a better mario kart game comes out because this game is amazing and very fun you would definitly want to keep it so buy the game also if you buy it you could also get some of mario kart 8 downloadable content but don't rent it buy it because like i said you want to keep the game until better mario kart game comes out and then sell it if you want!

Totally buy it. The graphics are incredible, the character selection is huge, and the tracks are all beautifully well designed. The entire game is do incredibly well polished for a game that only took three years to make. It is really a shining example of what nintendo really has to offer these days, also, it had doc, which includes link and the villager. The doc also comes with more tracks and karts, not to mention the excellently made kart customization feature. So, in conclusion, you should definetly buy this excellent game.

The games really good, and buying it full price is worth it. Online mode has 2 player options like smash bros so your friends could take turns while playing, and buying DLC would be even better since you have extra characters and stages you wouldn't have gotten without paying full.

I've seen Dashie's videos on it and the game looks absolutely amazing. Stunning graphics, amazing gameplay, and great DLC. I'm sadden that I don't have a Wii U because I would've loved to play this. The game will be worth buying.

I don't own the game, so I can't provide much detail about it. Either way, I would buy it since you never have to give it back to the person you rented it with. If you did rent it, then you would have only 2 weeks to play it and maybe even someone else played it and unlocked all the content. I mean, what fun is that?

Between renting or buying, I would have to say buy. Who would want to use a used disc that is possibly scratched or not even working. I've been that several times and I find that annoying. I say buy it because it will be brand new, working and you won't have to return it. If you been wanting this game for a long time I suggest you buy it. If you buy it, you can long-lasting fun for a very long time.
