Mario or Luigi - Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U

Mario, he's more of an all round character than Luigi and i really like that, + My brother uses Luigi really often so i'll kick his butt like an older brother should do.

How's Mario more of an all round character than Luigi? Don't they have really similar movesets? (even if they were a bit more differentiated in Brawl..)

Let's face it! Mario is obviously gonna be played more. Even the cheapest amiibo I see in stores is luigi because people don't play with him and favorite him as much as Mario.

I would pick Mario if I wanted to use a character that was meant for players just starting out. He's a great character to practice with. But as a more advanced person who wants to maximize the amount of damage dealt, I'd pick Luigi for his great down throw combos. His recovery is even better than Mario's too. And the green missile is fun to use since its pretty OP if you get a misfire.

I'd have to go with Mario. He's to Smash Bros. what Ryu is to Street Fighter: Everyone knows how to play as him. Also, I've tried playing as Luigi before and I gotta say, I have more chances of winning as Mario than with him. Plus, he's pretty much the face of the game, along with Link, Kirby, and Pikachu of course.
