A sad case isn't it? Its right there in front of us, on the other side of the window glass, right there in the shop, but unreachable.
Mocking.

The game looks great, but I won't be getting it, I am not a fan of too much sports game and my family is boring (not true, they are too busy). This is a commercial of the game and it shows a bit of gameplay. I also need a Wii U which is very important to play Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games for the Wii U.

Anyways what do you guys think ?
What I think is that after a while these games are just going to be completely boring and repetitive. There's only so much they can do with this series. It was neat when they first started it in 2008, but we'll see how this goes....

Well I think that this one actually looks different, I like how you can play with more than persons. The new game challenges look interesting.

True, but what I'm saying is that eventually they'll run out of ideas (I doubt there's as much to add to this game as there is for Pokemon...)

Nah, I don't think I shall put a limitations to the game, I mean as the Winter games, yes their is limitations, but they are many other themed sports (and seasons) that can be added to make the extensive.

they can't really do seasons that much because Olympics are limited to Winter and Summer. And as for other themed sports, then they run the risk of it becoming more like a "Mario & Sonic Party" game than an Olympic game themed thing.

Well, to be honest I don't like putting limitations to stuff, I always think that their is room for improvement, so I would just wait and see, some of the Mini-game sports in this game looks different from those of the previous.

well yeah, there's room for improvement, but all game genres have their limitations without going crazy. As long as it remains fresh and not just a game with updated graphics then it's good

I enjoyed the 3DS demo of M&S 2012 Olympics, never got the full game. While I enjoy games like this once in a while, I'll skip this one for both consoles (I don't own a Wii U anyway :p).

I agree but at this point I don't think there will be any limitations, give it at least two more games for you to say that.

 There's a 3DS version, I had no idea, but same here, I might skip it (not sure yet, because I have to play that demo first) and of course I would be force to skip it on the Wii U, since I don't have that console- as yet :)

Well, the portable version have a story and those sports are better optimized for single player...

I have to say I enjoyed the demo too, but 40 bucks is kinda expensive... I would pay 30 for it.

Yeah, it most likely will boil down to at least 30 bucks by later in next year (hopefully).
