Mario vs. Luigi

I like Luigi better. I like underdogs. Mario gets the spotlight and Luigi is hidden in his shadow.
I'd like to see Mario face the mansion's Lugi has to exterminate ghosts in. :p

I think I would go for Mario and I'll tell you why, he is quite similar to me (don't worry I don't grow up eating mushrooms or I don't do any sort of quest to rescue any princess), he is physically similar to me, he is fat, I am fat, he is happy, and I am quite happy too, I have even dressed up like him in one occasion. On the other hand, I agree with Mikaya in that Luigi is more silly

I like luigi better he acts funny and is very speed when it comes to racing in Mario kart games plus he has a whole mansion to himself.What does Mario have?Mario is the main character though but if they were to fight luigi it might be a tie.

They are both amazing, but i think i need to go with Luigi. Mario might be braver, but Luigi is silly.

Luigi is cooler than Mario in my opinion. He apparently seems more crazy/weird/silly and is more... Amusing to play with.

Luigi! He's, uh, got his own game... and that's about it. But that doesn't stop him from being one of the Mario franchise's coolest character. He's usually faster, and can jump higher, and is usually a bonus in every Mario game. I wouldn't label him a cowardly anymore, I mean, he's been in 2 haunted mansions in his life. All in all, Luigi's is one cool guy.

I think it is a hard decision to choose between Mario and Luigi. For me both of them are great characters, their have their own and sometimes you prefer one or the other. Mario is a character of all the times and nowadays Luigi is becomeing mjore popular, specially on games were you can play with both..

I like Luigi because he is taller and can jump higher. He also got that deathstare thing going on

I agree with u and the fact that he's silly and he has funny catharses like "oh yeah". That stare though.:rotfl:

Admittedly, I like Mario, but I'll admit enough any day that Luigi really does need and deserves larger share of the limelight pie as he is amazing in his own, unique right (DAT SCUTTLING AND RUNNING ON WATER!).

Between Mario and Luigi, I'll have to choose Luigi. He is one of my favorite characters in the Mario series. Luigi has helped and fought alongside his brother on many occasions. Throughout his life, he has lived in Mario's shadow, developing both cowardly and heroic tendencies.

Hard to choose, I don't know who I like more. I think Luigi, I always change it.

I like Luigi because, first of all, Green is my favourite colour. Then yes, he really is silly and funny, and I like funny character more than the serious ones. He kinda stands out more than how Mario does, even though Nintendo emphasises Mario more than him.

Mama mia! Ia choosa Luigi (just imagine mario's voice while reading this). He's the green mario, player 2, unappreciated character. But seriously, Luigi's the better of the two

Who doesn't love a sociopathic hero who throws enemies into lava and watches their skin melt off with a smile on his face, then goes his merry way? (Poor Bowser...)

i would dare to say but i think mario by a landslide because he is more experience in the games but luigi is not that experienced as his brother mario. i dont think luigi being a coward effects who wins because in the luigi's mansion games he is scared the whole time but he still gets the job done and save mario/

I personally prefer Mario to Luigi. After all, Mario is the original character of the bunch. But I can't help but feel sorry for Luigi, who always seems to be overshadowed by Mario, almost to a creepy extent. I mean, have you SEEN the Mario Power Tennis ending where Luigi wins and Mario loses and Mario grinds Luigi's foot into the ground? weird.
