More characters leaked thanks to the latest update

Woah, Ryu might be coming for Smash? It don't see why not since Ryu is from Capcom and Mega Man is also from that company and made it in. If Ryu does make it in, I wonder what his moveset would be? For sure his neutral b is the hadoken.

Choo, choo, ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN CHOO CHOO. But seriously, Roy? Its Roy, who doesn't love roy? And Ryu from street fighter would be a good fighter but we have to think about this, we haven't seen a character from any of those fighting games, no mortal kombat or street fighter games, just old retro goodness. So I'm taking taking Ryu with a grain of salt.

(This seems to concern both versions of SSB4, but, this might be a rumour. Proceed with caution, as I won't be responsible for uncontrollable hype, or deception or any other kind of reaction)

According to a new post in Reddit's /r/smashbros section, an user called shinyquaqsire23 allegedly decrypted Smash Bros 3DS's 1.0.6 update and found some interesting stuff in it.

So, apparently, though we can't jump to conclusions yet, there might be evidence that Ryu from Street Fighter and Roy from Fire Emblem (not the Koopaling this time) might come back.

Assuming this was found in the 3DS version, maybe the Wii U version also contain those. But given the Wii U hasn't been "hacked" (as in "browsing game files to know what can be found", not piracy), there's no way to prove it. But the presence of the other DLCs' data can reinforce the plausibility of this rumour.

What do you think: Trick, or future DLCs announced ?

I don't actually believe this because I don't think Nintendo is THAT reckless :p Maybe it is a joke or even it is a Nintendo offical pretending to see this. Or some random guy seeking attention :/ It would be pretty cool if it was though!

Honestly, I believe this as the game may be one of the last smash games, if not the last smash installment due to the pressure put on sakurai to make a sequel. DLC Makes the game fresh, so it feels like a new experience when someone is added. DLC will stick around a long time so prepare to pull out your wallets because who knows how much dlc can be included in the game. Maybe stages can be used as DLC!

But, The Cutting Room Floor (tcrf.net), a website specializing in searching unused stuff in games proved that it was true, and that the files were present in the update. To be honest, I think you can even listen to them on their site.

Yeah, there have been plenty of sources stating that the files have been found. (I talked to a guy who found the files too) Theres no denying that theyre there. All we need now is to wait for Nintendo to say something, but they been pretty quite lately >_> Also, Ryu is possible seeing as how Sakurai used to play Street Fighter II (And kicked *** at it)
