Most powerful legendary?

from all the Pokemon games, which legendary pokemon do you think is the most strongest and why?
 
Mewtwo has always been the most powerful, but Arceus is technically better according to base stats
 
Arceus, since his supposed to be the creator god who created the universe including the gods of time and space.
 
Mewtwo. Arceus may be the God of Pokemon, but Mewtwo was created with extraordinary powers. His powers go beyond any natural Pokemon's powers.
 
Arceus because it can become any type you want it to be
 
Arceus is the King of Pokemon, so I guess he is pretty powerful. However, I'm pretty sure any of the Weather Trio would own him badly. Rayquaza especially since he is the Lord of the Skies. Mewtwo is more of a lab experiment than most powerful Pokemon, but I don't doubt its capabilities.
 
to me:Mewtwo,very hard to catch and very hard to faint,plus his background is quite interesting,an experiment gone wrong.Said to have the most savage heart of pokemon.
 
While mewtwo and arceus are strong in terms of pure power, I think darkrai would destroy them both easy. Somehow I have the feeling darkrai can just snap his(its?) fingers, make the opponent fall asleep and then destroy it with another snap. Plus darkrai seems to actually have a brain, and can ninjakill its enemies.
 
Mewtwo because it's one of the most awesome Pokémon ever. The mega mewtwo Y is just too OP for anything that faces it. It has access to a decent movepool making it a good counter for many Pokémon.

Mewtwo was the Original Uber. Arceus knocked him off his high horse until he came back with Mewtwonite Y.
But even then, Arceus is flexible, and can be made into any form to suit the player's strategy.
I'd have to say it depends on the trainer.

I guess Mega Mewtwo Y is the strongest, just because of not only its high BST (720 makes it the highest in the game) and how its allocated (MMX has an extra few points in attack, where Y is given those points in Sp.Atk.). However, I think Pok'emon like Arceus and Latios are better, because of Arceus' type coverage and Latios' OU tiering, where the other strong legendaries are in Ubers. :)

This means that Latios may not be as Powerful, but it is more useful, right? Pokemon are sent to the Ubers because they're Over Powered, and too strong for the OU tier. ;)

Archers does have the best base stats of any pokémon so I guess the strongest pokémon stat wise has to be him, but then again mewtwo has a mega evolution that really helps it out so I guess the strongest has to technically go to him.

Xerneas is definitely one of the strongest legendaries as of right now, combine its movepool with a powerful setup move in the form of Geomancy, and you have an amazing mixed/special sweeper.

Ehh.. Anime/manga-wise, I'd say Arceus. Game-wise, I'd say MMY. At least through their stats. I don't know enough about competitive to give a sure answer.

Both arceus and mewtwo may be the strongest .still they had also showing their powerless in the movie release based on this legendary pokemon.. I cant chose between them, but as mewtwo is create by human from the gene of mew in the other hand arceus is said to

I would say either Darkrai or Giratina.

I believe as for my favorite and strongest legendary that it would be Giratina as well because it looked really cool and strong and there is no other like pokemon being ghost-dragon ( correct me if i am wrong though ) and I love the Idea of that if whether or not holding the Griseous Stone will change Giratina's form and that is just very plain awesome ! It could also learn amazing moves too ! So definitely the strongest :)

Magikarp is GOD it is unbeatable all other legendaries combined can't beat it :p
I mean, the strongest legendary is gonna be Mega Rayquaza. Arceus was the strongest however when rayquaza has come up with a mega stone for itself, it has become WAY too strong and hardly any pokemon can beat it.

If there was primal rayquaza instead of megs, it would be SO powerful hat no pokemon would stand a chance against it
