That has to be the most stupidest idea I have ever heard, you wouldn't really be catching pokemon you would be catching ditto's,
Agreed.
Well , it's a good idea if they enabled the ditto ball that Pokemon Master Strategist said in battles with opponents so u can probably just steal their pokemon xD
The Snag Ball was made for a reason. Also, Dittos can't remain transformed forever and only have 5 PP per move when they do transform. This kinda makes PMS's idea useless...

These are all great ideas I think they should be added into the next generation.:)

I like the idea of using Pokedex numbers because it might encourage people to reference their Pokedex more often. I would suggest a Feather Ball that is designed to accommodate lightweight Pokemon. This gives trainers another reason to check the metrics of a Pokemon on their Pokedex. Another one could be a Gravity Ball. It would be designed to catch Pokemon during sky battles. There are plenty of ideas, and I think Game Freak should add some more to help make catching a Pokemon a more exciting activity to do.

GS ball already exists. It is the ball that allows access and capture of Celebi. It is exclusive to Pokemon Crystal. I am also not really a fan of the ball Idea's you had. Sorry:sorry:

With the introduction of Horde Battle battles in XY, I have a new Poke Ball in my mind related to Hordes Battles.

Horde Ball-
A specially built Poke Ball that becomes more effective when attempting to capture a Pokemon in a horde. This Poke Ball will become effective with any horde Pokemon as long as it is with its horde.
Effect-
Allows the player to catch wild Pokemon, works better on hordes.
Capture Rate-
3x if used on a Pokemon with members its horde, 2x if used on a horde Pokemon alone, 1x otherwise (no horde)

I like the idea of a horde ball. It would make catching Pokemon a bit more dynamic because you have to decide between defeating all the Pokemon to leave 1 (to eliminate 80% damage) or leave all of them and just go for one (to maximize catch rate 3x). However, for a horde ball to be implemented, I'd like to see some good, strong Pokemon actually have hordes, not just weak Pokemon.

The idea of the Horde Ball is actually only for in-game purposes, not for competitive. You really don't need strong Pokemon for in-game. You honestly just need a variety of types and moves.

In-game moves are just about using super effective moves to score OHKOs on your opponent. That's really it. What I'm saying is that hordes should consist of Pokemon that are harder to defeat. For example, a horde of Gabites would be a worthy challenge, especially for a trainer going through the story (I'm not talking postgame but going through the actual story). That's the time where I feel horde balls could be useful since you would have to either battle or capture the Pokemon(sidenote: make it impossible to run from horde battles).

Why not make a sort of pokeball that can be catched if one attack has been given to this pokemon we can call it the attackball but it doesn't work on legendry because it only works on normal pokemon and a pokeball that can catch legendery if you resist on 5 attack from the legend we would call it the the 5th round ball.

Super Safari Ball: 1.5x catch rate in Safari Zone, only catch is you start off with 10 of these in a Safari Game at an inflated price (probably 1200 Poké)
Hyper Safari Ball: 2.0x catch rate in Safari Zone, only catch is you start off with 5 of these in a Safari Game at an inflated price than normal: (probably 3200 Poké)
For those of you wondering, admission to the Safari Zone costs only 500 Poké

Dawn Ball: Alternative to Dusk Ball, 2.5x catch rate in the daytime, costs 800 Poké and only available in the 8th, 10th, 11th towns and the Pokémon League in addition to the resident Mall.

Affection Ball: 1x catch rate, costs 1000 Poké, and doubles all affection-increasing payouts (specifically for Pokémon-Amie), available at 5th and 7th towns, the Pokémon League and the resident Mall.

Mystery Ball: Who knows what it does? 0.5x catch rate and only available from a certain NPC for 500 Poké.

Contest Ball: Can be customized (with seals, accessories, etc.) for use in the Contest Hall only. Unavailable in the Bag or anywhere else, and Pokémon in the party are automatically switched into these upon Contest Registration.

Clear Ball: A purely aesthetic ball. 1.0x capture rate and obtainable through an unknown method. Exactly what the name implies.

Starter Ball: Similar in function to the Cherish Ball, this ball holds the Starter given to the player at the beginning of their journey. Unobtainable anywhere else in the game, and also a marker that can distinguish legit Pokémon as it can't be accessed or applied to a Pokémon even through hacking attempts.

The Hack Ball- Only hacked Pokemon have these and are unobtainable any other way and there is no way around changing the hacked Pokemon's Poke Ball
The Glitch Ball- The only way to catch Glitched Pokemon in newer games like Lv.7 Mew and Missingno.
The Harsh Ball- If not caught the Pokemon will receive damage. Damage depends on the level of ball and might not work on higher leveled Pokemon or Legendaries.
The Fresh Ball- It works well for capturing Fairies and Poison types. It can also heal the status condition the wild Pokemon is in like say a Legendary is confused or accidentally burned. Has high catch rate when Wild Pokemon had status condition (but not when healed).
The Mock Ball- It copies the effect of another ball you have and does the exact effect as what the ball would do (can use before throwing the ball however if it catches the Pokemon it will break and tell you it can catch)
The Pester Ball- You can only catch Gen 1 Pokemon in this Ball and it is a guaranteed catch unless a Legendary.
The Special Ball- Tranforms any Pokemon you capture into one with its HA. It doesn't affect anything other than that and has a greater catch chance when the Pokemon has a HA.

Haha you got somethimg interesting idea for those new balls, I really wonder when can we use those ball like the hack ball and the glitch ball, the ball only for those who play pokemon games that had been hacked one..after all good idea ,Artisan.
This is my idea for new balls..like
having a ball that is specific for eachtype.

Electric ball
Exclusive only for electric type pokemon only
Effect:
Increase the catch rate by 40% for electric type pokemon.

Fairy ball
Exclusive only.for fairy type pokemon.
Effect:
Increase the catch rate by 30% for fairy type pokemon...

And many type just like both ball

For me I thik it is great having these ball when playing..[/QUOTE]
