Nintendo is not giving up on the console market, the mobile games will most likely just be advertisements for the 3DS/Wii U.

Yes I have heard I am pretty excited on this and I hope that the things do well because Nintendo is always trying new things . Also like Lios said , I still wouldn't want Nintendo to drop out the console market , because it is the best and I like it that way so I am very excited to see more about this soon

Seeing all the reactions on the new console it's clear that nintendo has created a lot of distrust with the release of the N3DS. Really bad marketing. Hopefully they'll learn from it.
