You can buy cards from Game and other retailers which allows you to download games onto your console using the Nintendo E-shop. Have you used this service before? if yes, what games did you get?

I have only got free demos so far, but I plan on getting some 3DS exclusives and maybe some virtual classic games.

I didn't know you could to this. I'm gonna have to check that out sometime.

I have thought about buying download codes for the eShop, but I think I'd rather just stick to buying physical cartridges instead. I already don't have much space on my SD card to begin with, and games take up a lot of space. In addition, because of how Nintendo's account system works, I don't want to lose my 3DS and also lose all the games on it too. Keeping the carts physical gives me something that I can actually protect whereas a digital game can always be corrupted or taken away (if the whole system is gone).

No, I have never used this before, as the only e-shop game I have currently is from a giveaway on this website. I think it is a cool feature, but I wish there were more games on the e-shop to buy. Most of the games just seem like over-expensive games that are too cheap to put out in places other than the e-shop or your iPhone. However, there are still MANY jewels that have found their ways to the e-shop.

I've used a few times before and they have neat little videos to see what games are like and you can use codes to redeem CN games/E-Shop Cards. They also have text of what the game is about or a little of the story as well as some ratings by E-Shop users. I think it's troublesome to run out of SD card space so I might want to ask for another SD card sometime.

Once I got a 16GB SD Card, buying cards from GAME is literally the only way I could've gotten Pokémon X and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I like doing it this way because I don't have to go through parents or my brother first, and I've gotten a bunch of retail games I could've gotten otherwise this way as well (like Bravely Default). I also buy eShop games (and DLC when I can) using these cards too.

I've used it many times before, and it's quite a wonderful service, I like not having to drive you to get I game I want, all I do id punch in my credit card number and then buy the game. It's quite convenient and offers games other than the main ones. (Which the also have) I personally use this a lot, but I also do go to gamestop to get discounts and such. The games are priced nicely as well. Go get yourself some Eshop credit :3

So far all i've gotten from the nintendo eshop is demos, zelda four swords anniversary, and kirby's dreamland (which I got free from club nintendo) so i've never actually bought anything, what can I say? I'm a fan of free stuff ;P

On the good old dsi I bought Mario Vs Donkey Kong:Minis March Again and a karoke christmas game. I do not suggest it, it had only 2 songs. But Mario Vs Donkey Kong I fully suggest! It's really fun, puzzling and you can download other peoples levels online, one of the best dsiwares out there!

I use it a lot to download games. The only problem is if you get a big nintendo 3ds game like Mario and Luigi: Dream Team,
It takes a long time to download.

I haven't. I only use my debit card to purchase online. One of the reason why I haven't used it yet, is that in my country a 20 dollars card costs me 27 dollars, so to me it is really expensive that way. Using the debit card I just buy the game directly and the money is driven right away to the nintendo eshop.

The sales tax is a downer, tho. Unless your place is tax-free, you pay almost 1/3 of the cost of game.

I haven't used this feature, however I do plan on using it sometime. I know that it's a pain to drive around everywhere to find the game you need, and that's where the eShop system comes in handy. There is another website called pcgamesupply.com that lets you buy eShop card (USA and Europe) online and have them delivered to you by e-mail.

I've purchased 20 DSiWare games, 80 3DS Virtual Console games, 31 Wii U eShop games, 46 Wii U Virtual Console games, and 78 3DS eShop games.

Yeah, I like the eShop quite a bit.

Nah I don't really buy from the eshop as much as I do digitally. The physical games are cheaper than the eshop ones and you can make a collection with them. The only digital games I have are kid icarus, which I got free via club nintendo, and pokedex, which I got for free as well.
