I never expected to see a 3ds survive a fire, nintendo don't make any cheap thing that is for sure.Had my 3ds fall down a couple of times though, not one single scratch from it during that fall but others from different experiences.

Wow your 3ds really has been through alot, I ve always known many nintendo products despite being hurt and damaged alot , they always have a high probability of it still working :stop: really nintendo:playful: what is the hardware used to make these things, but then my 3ds circle pad soft thing fell off due to too much fishing in Zelda Oot .......o_O really Nintendo :rage::punch::mad:

There's a YouTube channel called will it blend where they put stuff like hair dryers and video game s In a blender and see how it blends. They haven't done one for 3ds yet but wonder how it would turn out in stability.

Sounds bad for the 3dS but also quite interesting. It would probably get some scratches but I wonder what it would do to the motionsensor? Getting shaken so violently could damage it I think.

the blender they use on the channel is really high tech so it would probably make way more than a few scratches :p. they've literally ripped iPhones and noises to shreds xD

Yeah but don't forget it's made out of Nintendium. That's quite different from Applium. ;)

Nintendo stuff is good quality and doesn't die out. However, my first ds lite didn't fall down or anything but its top screen stopped working and started showing weird lines. Plus, it doesn't charge properly now and when I switch it on, it turns off in max. 5 seconds! The cartridge slot stopped working too!

That weird. Are you sure you didn't drop it? Did you download any illegal stuff (and then updated the thing?). My sisters DS lite has some L and R button issues and the microphone doesn't work anymore but when you know what she did to it in the years she had it's a wonder it's still working.

Next time I see my sister I will take pictures but my sister broke the out side frame next to the r button and it's showing the internal parts, has a huge scratch on the front outer shell, huge debts in the sides, and still works perfectly

I remeber my old phat ds breaking in half with only some cables attached between the screens and it actually kept working perfectly (that is if you ignore the fact that you cannot hold it !)

Maybe you could try to use some ducttape and just tape it together?

Yeah, I was gonna buy a used DSi anyways so the old one gave me a small discount, there is some poeple who actually make use of the good parts in the broken consoles to either fix or replace broken ones on another !

Nice! A friend of mine broke his ds light (accidentally soaked it in cola) so they repaired it an as a bonus he got a transparent ds made completely from spare parts; and it worked!
