^ This. But at the same time, it bothers me that we're having one LESS feature in comparison with the Japanese version.
Here's a video with Shara:^ This.
Does anyone have a video of the feature in action?
Here's a video with Shara:
Somehow I know that I don't want to know what she was saying...Here's a video with Shara:
Dude i just had to scrub my eyes out with an SOS pad, oh my god oh lord kill me please oh my.Here's a video with Shara:
Don't get your hopes up on that. It is Japan, after all lol2. You can dress 13 year old girls in extremely revealing clothes and then going on to pet them, what the hell Nintendo? Hopefully even Japan finds that creepy.
That is true it is one less feature and i do support the notion of no censorship in games as i believe that the makers put a lot of time and effort into these things and cutting something for PR reasons in kind of a stab in the back. While all this is true i think there is no reason for people to be upset about the removal of this feature, if you think about it its just something you would have done once or twice and then never touched again (no pun intended) just like most of us did with pokemon ami.I'm neutral within this censorship. I have no issues having this feature removed because I don't think it'll be too relevant in the game and, yeah, it can be misinterpreted in so many ways. But at the same time, it bothers me that we're having one LESS feature in comparison with the Japanese version.
Well, I just hope that they don't end up removing too much, and that the story and most of the gameplay remains intact.
I don't mind it myself, since it has little use unless if you just want a
Well, maybe they'll compensate by adding something else instead (though we might be wrong, it's rare that Nintendo adds something over censured content).
Good news is it seems like everything except the petting is there which means they still can be invited and still bond and chat (a sentence or two but still)Aww thats such a bummer, mainly because i love watching support convos and it gets annoying to grind them up by my 3rd or 4th play through, i was willing to have to do some awkward, love plus X Pokemon ami X fire emblem tasks if it got them faster.
i dearly hope they add an item or something to replace that feature (like an upgraded seed of trust)
but knowing nintendo
a) there will be no replacement
b) if there is a replacement it would either be too little or too much, basically broken
P.S: i think for those who still want to experience the feature there are programs online that is exactly the same as the one in game. (Or there will be ) that allow you to do that.
classic japan, them and their strange, strange, animated game universe. but still hype for this game anyway.Good news everyone!

So according to Polygon, the interaction and petting is removed, HOWEVER the animations the people give and the support bonuses are kept intact, although you cant rub people anymore, and i thought that was creepy anyways. You just invite someone into your room, talk to them, and you get the support bonuses. They are dubbing it "skinship". I think nintendo did the right thing here, after all Japan has been known to have their... strange sexual fantasys... and this was definatly one of them. Thank god nintendo of america, you did the right thing.
I posted this in another thread anyways, just wanted to let everyone know.
I much prefer this to... petting people like they're my Nintendog. Although I'm not sure what "skinship" is supposed to mean, but doesn't matter to me.Good news everyone!

The age of consent in Japan is 13, so they probably don't find it creepy at all. Entirely different culture, although I must say I don't agree with it.2.
