I much prefer this to... petting people like they're my Nintendog. Although I'm not sure what "skinship" is supposed to mean, but doesn't matter to me.

The age of consent in Japan is 13, so they probably don't find it creepy at all. Entirely different culture, although I must say I don't agree with it.

Human petting . . . that's definitely Japanese material! I know of a mobile game in which you pet high school girls and make them fight. I feel as if we Americans are too feeble to handle such content. Hell, NoA even considers Toadette's underside to be too sexualized to post on Miiverse! I would like to show proof, but "Mommy Dearest" said that I have to remove it.
