Opinion on Linkle?

This is Linkle, a new Legend of Zelda character announced during the recent Nintendo Direct. She'll be a character in Hyrule Warriors. My question is, how do you guess feel about her.

For me, I love her overall. Even her name actually. Early concept art had her as Link's daughter, and this would totally be a name that Link would give her. And her design is really cute!!! I love the braids and the jacket and the little blue charm necklace. It's nice and pretty while still being very Link-ish.
Honestly, I want her to be in more games just because of the novelty of a female Link. I don't care if it's even Pokemon style "Are you a Boy or a Girl?" for just one game. We've been asking for this character for a long time and I want to see her be more than a one time deal.

personally, i don't understand all the hate she's been getting lately :T sure, 1 of the reasons she was added was kinda fanservice, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't exist at all. i can easily see how she might have a major part in the story (that compass >.>) and could actually be related to link in the game.

I think this character will be included for the new legend of zelda game coming for the wii u next year! I think it is great! It gives female players a chance to play as a female character. I like her design, it is very simple and looks like a link, but a girl version! All they need now is a male zelda(lol) called Sella!

Linkle is like Lucina! Link's child from the future that has come to stop toon link from defeating link and fusing with ganon to ultimately destroy the world as we know it!

I like her, I hope she'll appear in future Zelda titles as either a Lucina type thing or as a female protagonist.

So all we know is that she's just the female counterpart of Link, right? Basically, she's like the Pokémon gender option except that rather than being two different people who share the same and opposite role, it's one person with a different gender. Or maybe some people can theorize that she's from an alternate reality. If there was an option to choose between the two in a future TLoZ game, it could possibly change how you play the game seeing as her signature weapons are dual crossbows rather than the Master Sword. A Third-Person shooter feel obviously where combat would mostly focus from long range.

Mixed feelings about her tbh, could be a great decision but could also be a aw-gawd-no decision I'm gonna wait with my opinion on her overall character when Hyrule Legends comes out or when she's playable in a main Zelda game. About her design, I liked the pilot one-

A male version of Zelda sounds so wrong on many levels xD.A girl link has been requested for a little bit so it's not as weird as a male zelda.Anyways, I think Linkle looks cool and looks fun to play with.I have a feeling people will start requesting for a male zelda soon though x_x.

I guess Linkle is a pretty awesome character :3 I've sort of wanted to see how interesting the character will be in the game, and it does open up a lot of possibilities for future Zelda games as well. Whether she would be a main character or a side character it's still really cool

I like her and I think she is a very unique character to come to hyrule warriors. I also love her red riding hood like design with her handy crossbows and her golden braids. I also loved her moveset. But, If link had a daughter and it was linkle , is Zelda the mother?

It is alright. I actually like her crossbows. Great reference to the old spin-off wii game.
That said I don't have stronbg feelings for Linkle. nice detail.

I like taht she is her own character more so than a mindless gender swap.

Anyhow back to topic she seems like a girl version of link without sword and similar skills as him maybe they'll duo up and do quests in the LoZ game for Wii U

Lol, I think in the loz wii u, the villian may be something else instead of the traditional "damsel in distress". Then, you can choose either link or linkle to play the game with. It sounds like a good idea to me! I like how linkle resembles link so much, just a girl instead. I find that really cool. I hope this comes for loz coming to the wii u next year, because that would be plain awesome.

To be honest, Linkle seems like a cool character. She's pretty cute, and I like the idea of her name. I hope her attacks are good. And also, I like the fact that it's not just like a different costume or something, it's a whole seperate character. The idea of her is pretty neat and I'm excited to see how she goes in the game.

Finally, a female character based on our hyrulian hero, Link! I like her name, and most importantly her design - that compass, that hood outfit (like the little red riding hood, but green!), all look pretty awesome!. The weapons of choice, surprisingly not a sword, the crossbows seem like they suit her. They're mini-bows, so why not? I guess they're based on normal bows (I see what you did there, Nintendo!).

People are making malapropisms about Linkle's name and I'm just here like "Yeah, her name sounds like [insert rhyming word here], big whoop" xD

She wears some cool accessories that make her unique from Link. The double crossbows is probably the thing that truly stands out about her. Not to mention: the ND footage of Linkle's crossbows in action was just plain OP. She'll be an awesome addition to Hyrule Warriors, no doubt about it.

So, i kinda hated her at the start but then with those screenshots i learned she just wasnt a female link but a whole new character to discover with a new story but that europe collectors edition with dat compass ooooo i may order it just for that kek im not Europe but i just sell the game

She is cute! As long as it isn't forced into the story I would love a 'Linkle' game. With forced I mean the 'the fandom asked for a female counterpart so let's randomly insert her somewhere'. Because that usually sucks.

Linkle is freaking amazing. While she doesn't use a sword, she has a great melee range and has amazing crossbow skills. Her appearance is close to how many fans have drawn a female link in the past. She can take down many forms and also is very quick. While I would've liked someone else for HR3D, it is nice to have another female character
