Overrated/Underrated Pokemons ?

Just a simple question, since it was running in my head while using Miiverse.

I often see the same Pokemons coming all over again in the comments/drawings of the Pokemon X/Y community, so here's the question :

What Pokemons do you think that they are overrated or underrated ?

Gar chomp definitely comes up everywhere !!!
look at his mega evolution !!!
big blades !!!
so cool !!!

Yeah, got to admit that I've seen this one all around the forum, though.
 
Gengar is really overrated.

It's not stupid xD though if it was a shiny mega garchomp it would be awesome it's so wicked the colour of it is purple , never used Miiverse yet :p didn't want to have a NNID lol

true but its totally overrated on miiverse and internet forums - not ours i think
 
Pikachu is overrated. I don't find it any cute, I mean there are decent Pika alternatives that are much cuter like Emolga, lol that's cute.

Or Dedenne. But in the same time, Pikachu being the most known pokemon, or should I say the main one, it's normal.

in my opinion the most overated now is Aegislash, I know it's agreat concept, typing and one of the most usful in competitive battling but I am starting to find that it gets too much praise I mean it's on EVERY youtube wifi battle I watched and that is before I buy the game ! nevertheless it's a great pokémon in my look I just wish to see it less .

Aegislash has the defense and attack form which makes it kind of annoying to battle with although it's a good pokemon for competitive battling disadvantage : speed increases as stance changes. Aegislash is over rated ;)

Yes, but I keep wondering if he'll resist when I'll have my cartridge and my imported team. Ok, I'll have to IV + EV train them, but I think that I'll just beat some people on the Wi-Fi. And when I think of it, I will be able to have both Charizard's mega-evolutions, since I have already one ready in Black 2, and I'll pick one in X.

Anyways, I have also found that Tyranitar is overrated on Miiverse.

Some of you are saying that Aegislash is overrated, but honestly it's one of the better pokemon in the metagame. One of the few good ways to counter it is with a status move because King's Shield doesn't protect from status

I know it is one of the best pokémon when it comes to competetive batteling but to see him in every player's team is a bit overused, there are other decent pokémon players can use besides it. but to be honest I'll probably train one to battle competitively :oops:

Honestly, TalonFlame with Gale Wings is overrated and it's a pain in the @$$ too. +1 for all Flying moves, get out of here!! :rage:

Yes , Tyranitar can Tank enemies but it's defense is just :eek: Not that good so I would best recommend getting a wall and setting it up with left overs to be a tank and become indestructible :sneaky:

I quite agree with you, prankster is a overpowerd tactic but gale wings takes that to another level, absolutely no pokémon can outspeed it with this ability except prankster !

Prankster also provides +1 to status moves, so both fall in the same priority bracket (+1) which means the fastest Pokemon will move first. Talonflame is also helluva a fast pokemon as well.

really ? I thaught prankster gives +2 priority ! wow gale wings Talonflame really is a good pokémon competitively no wonder it is overused just like Aegislah !
