After reading this,I couldn't resist the idea,and went straight to work on my badge! :D
Hope this looks legit as a badge for qualification! :thumbsup:

I also have a question @Miko McWindy ,since you stated we have to show the artwork we were using when posting our entries.Does that mean we have to post the original artwork we used for our badges(if that's the case),or is it just the badge itself made by ourselves only?

Put your username somewhere on the badge or on a piece of paper next to the badge. :3

The badge itself (made only by you) will do. Badge is legit :D

Hey fellow Pedians! It's been a while since I hosted a contest for ya'll, so here ya go! :3

I have some questions to start you off!​
  • Have you ever played Nintendo Badge Arcade for the 3DS?
  • Are you creative and like to draw/design pieces of art?
  • Would you like to make your very own badge based on a custom character or object you have created?
  • Or would you prefer to design a badge on a established character or item?
If you have answered yes to most of the above, then read on! Your task is simple. Create your very own badge (custom made by you or of an existing character/item) using only your imagination!

There are some rules to follow, though!​
  1. All artwork created must be made by you! getting a fanart/image from the internet is not allowed. You will be removed from the contest if you are found doing this. I will be checking entries regularly. Remember, it has be to artwork of a badge!
  2. Provide a front and back view of the badge in one image.
  3. You can hand-draw it on paper (color it in please) or create it digitally (using Photoshop/GIMP/Paint)
  4. Put your username somewhere visible on the finished product.
  5. Only one entry per contestant.
  6. All forum rules apply here, no spam or negative comments on members' art.
  7. Staff members are not allowed to participate *laughs at rawr and Sunny* xD
  8. All artwork must be submitted using a spoiler tag. The following is a spoiler tag, without the spaces: [SPOILER ] [/SPOILER ]
  9. I will choose some judges at random to help decide the winners after the submission deadline. I will PM them to discuss. I will post the results/winners in this thread once decided. pc prizes will be given out shortly afterwards.
Prizes!

1st place: 50pc
2nd place: 25pc
3rd place: 10pc

Submissions will close on February 2nd, 2016, at 10PM GMT (5PM 3DS Pedia time) May the best masterpiece(s) win! best of luck!​

Can the badges back be a smaller view than the front as I don't wanna use two pieces of paper

Wow, you made an actual badge! ...It's going to make you very glittery if you wear it though. :p

The back of the badge isn't really a problem for me,as I needed to make it look golden in the back either way(there wasn't any paper that had just the golden color without glitter in it),and admittedly,it's not like I properly made it to fit in people's clothing.It's more there for decorative purposes than trying to somewhat place it still it in your shirt or jacket if you'd ask me. :p

I just used my metallic gold colored pencil and put it near a light source to make it shine but yeah I liked the glitter to XD

You just need to draw up (and color in) the back of the badge. :3
