Animal Crossing is a fun game that plays itself. Even when you don't. But there is a timw when it gets boring. If you grind for bells. Much like real life, huh? Life can be fun, but if you spend all your time working for money (which I respect), it can get boring. If you are trying to grind for bells, thats fine by me, go to Tortimer Island. But I will have fun with my friends, like its made for. Don't let grinding ruin your fun, play the game what its made for, for fun. Thanks! I hoped this helps you!

I see your point. Most people destroy the island to turn it into a bell machine. I dont do the digging up flowers i leave them. That way i can still make lots of bells but still keep the beauty of the island.

I understand what your saying , I like playing games but mostly I like enjoying the game rather than work myself up with having to do this and that or generate those bells . I also think that Nintendo is trying to stress us with that Pokemon Shuffle game as well , too much things that I can't keep up with .

Sometimes I just want to play at my own pace and enjoy a little :(

While I see your point, there are some who gain enjoyment from grinding bells. The game can be enjoyed in tons of different ways. There's even a nuzlocke challenge for new leaf, you can believe it, and every now and then I challenge myself to get the max amount of bells in the shortest amount of time. So while it's fun playing the game as it was meant to be played, it can also be fun doing the exact opposite

I agree with you. Sometimes some videoganes that seem fun actually put a lot of stress on you.

Grinding for bells isn't the only way to lose interest in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you know. Simply playing the game and going through the motions can slowly become a bore. This is mainly due to expectations. Getting tired or stressed from a game is actually quite normal, and usually inevitable.

I never grind
I can get over ten mill in thirty mins easy with turnips

I get what you mean because, that's exactly what I've done for a long time. What I think though, is that you have to work hard to earn the tons of money that you need for your house and projects, and once that is done THEN you can play through it and enjoy it.

I agree with this, the game gets boring and you stop playing it if you grind for bells. You should get only a little money everyday and save it up, this makes the game much more fun. ACNL is a game the should be played slowly, if it is it is one of the the best games ever.

In my personal opinion, grinding can be pretty rewarding in its own way. That, however, depends on how much you grind and how much effort is being put into it. I don't have a problem putting on my favorite TV shows and sitting back as I collect shells and other items for money. It can, however, get boring. It's just best to find the best gaming style for you, whatever that is.

This isn't always true. To have fun in the game you maybe would need to buy some fun items, or get a bigger house. You could also really like fishing/catching animals, and you could call that grinding. Also some people grind because they want to get pc on here for bells. Everyone has their own ways of playing games, and even if you don't like it, that doesn't mean they "can't grind for bells". This covers some of what you said up there, I think ;3. :p

I play Animal crossing to troll the villagers not sure what i destroy when i do that. But yeah some people turn their city into a factory, and by these wise words:
Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves.
The Great Sage has spoken! Farewell!

Well if you use an easy bell trick with the island that only works 5pm to 7pm, you can use the rest of the day to enjoy the game without any monetary worries.

I'll grind 'til I'm satifsfied. :p I guess that wouldn't hurt for a newbie. I can't move on without the bells, and my house is so tiny that I can't reallt fit in all of my furniture and stuff that were mostly given by my villagers as token from their tasks. It is kinda rewarding, but I guess people should know when to stop grinding and enjoy the rest of the game.

I never go to the island. What I have done is, I have made a perfect cherry orchard in a patch of my town.Every 4 days, it sprouts perfect cherries. I get a lot of them. I sell them in another town and I get a lot of bells to last me for sometime.

I don't go to the island very often. I also don't try to destroy it. I just removed the flowers to stop the butterflies from spawning. Other than that, the island is still looking lively. It does get boring if all you do is to earn alot of bells just for the next house upgrade. Just try to have fun everyone.

Yeah, all I do is catch the pricey bugs and the occasional shark, (btw, IMPOSSIBLE!) and even then only if I need lots of money for something or other.
