Pokémon 20th Anniversary

So Pokémon has its 20th Anniversary coming up and Nintendo is doing it big this year! First off we all know that their releasing games (Pokémon Red, Yellow, and Blue, Pokémon Go and Pokken Tournament) but did you know theirs more.

Pokémon distributions of Mew, Darkrai, Arceus, and Genesect will be available all year this year at GameStop. Along with 12 movies being released on the app store on Google Play, Amazon, and iTunes. With the first three movies being digitally remastered.

There will also be new items at the Pokémon Center (the real one) and special trading cards featuring Pikachu and my boy Magikarp!

But here's the cool part there are going to be limited edition 3DS releases featuring Blastoise and Charizard in the style of Red and Blue with the games already installed in them with custom themes.

And another cool thing is Pokémon will have a special Super Bowl commercial play during the Super Bowl!

I don't know about you guys but Nintendo gave me a reason to finally watch the Super Bowl. I'm super excited!

I don't think I have a Gamestop but I seem to have an EB games that when ever I type in Gamestop it gives me EB games, so I should email them just to see. You thought the US didn't get many Pokemon events try Canada eh?

That sucks, I think many people assume Canada is part of America since you guys are right on top of us.

But I think any gaming store will be releasing them.

Wow, Is that New 3ds bundle real? I sooooo want it, I love those Charizard and Blastoise faceplates and also, I would love Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow pre-installed. I would play Pokemon yellow all day long, never putting it down. Except when I have to recharge my 3ds

BTW, I have both X (download) and Omega Ruby (retail). Can I download one of each mentioned legendaries? I would love to have more Mews! You an tell how obsess I am with my favorite Pokemon.

I think the Red/blue faceplates with the games pre-installed, plus matching themes and N3DS has hyped me up the most! the design really does bring back old memories of when I used to play the classic hit games. The available legendaries up for grabs is a good opportunity for collectors alike. I want them all! I have no interest in SuperBowl at all, so I won't be watching the Pokemon-related ad.

One more thing, there's a real pokemon centre somewhere in the world??? Never heard of it until now. Sounds awesome. Special edition TCG cards is a nice touch. xD

As far as I know, the Pokemon Center is a Pokemon Exclusive shop in Japan and they really have a lot of Pokemon related stuff. They even have a web shop so you can order anything they have from there. Unfortunately for me, they don't ship to Europe

The Pokémon center is only in Japan, also am i the only one that is SUPER-PUMPED about all of this? I can finally complete my legendary collection with Manaphy and Mew those are the only two I need!!!!!!

If its anything like the other giveaways that they do. I would assume that you should be able to receive each of them one time per game. As far as when Gamestop gives away the cards with the codes on it, the codes only work once time so you would have to get multiple codes to get them on each version of the game. The Gamestop near me will only give away one code per person but i have a friend that will give me multiple codes so if the time comes and someone missed the codes than i might have one or two extra that i could give people.

Though I may not be able to take advantage of the Pokemon distributions as I do not have XY/ORAS, that N3DS looks really good, not to mention with those two games pre-installed ;_; Everything seems all so lively and exciting I really like the picture thing too >.<

It might still be there in New York but the only one me and my friends have heard of is the one in Japan. But hey if there is one in New York I might order some stuff lol and I live between 4 gamestops ^~^ Fayetteville Nc, lol

I'm excited when I heard that I can collect most of the Mythical Pokemon available (including Shaymin and Victini among others), because at least, North America and the others don't have to sit and wait anymore. And I hoped that the movies will make it to my country's Google Play, because I wanted to watch it on my smartphones. And the latest New 3DS bundle looks pretty decent, but I should cross my fingers and hope that it would be much cheaper than Animal Crossing one (because it was way too expensive than non-bundled XL ), and I hoped that this could be my chance to grab the elusive New 3DS at last.

The Pokemon hype train is coming to town. I don't think I'll be able to be in a Game Stop to get the event Pokemon and man those New 3DS covers look nice. If only you could transfer the Pokemon to make the deal more tempting. I can't believe Pokemon came out that long ago. For Japan at least it came out in 1996 but in the US I thought it came out in 1998.
