The Pokemon hype train is coming to town. I don't think I'll be able to be in a Game Stop to get the event Pokemon and man those New 3DS covers look nice. If only you could transfer the Pokemon to make the deal more tempting. I can't believe Pokemon came out that long ago. For Japan at least it came out in 1996 but in the US I thought it came out in 1998.
well if I cant get my friend to join me in getting codes from Gamestop I should be able to get a few extras I could give you the codes if you want? when the time comes I guess I could make a post about it and let you know.

Actually, I bet that if someone collects the codes without having Pokemon.... They could make a killing in PC.

My opinion: I think what the Pokemon Company made is awesome. They made alot of things, like the whole history of Pokemon, and I am very happy about what they did. I will probably get all of the Mythical Pokemons via Nintendo Network, and maybe (probably not) I will ask my aunt to get me a code from Germany (I live in Israel and I have a German 3DS, but Gamestop or the shop they will give the codes are far from her house).

When I saw this thread I emediately rushed to the web page to take a look at it and I have to admit it's pretty awesome. I love the cronology of stuff released during these 20 year and I even remembered some of the things, and some of the thing I didn't, like the TCG stuff because I wasn't even in to it back in the day.
About the N3ds bundle: I kinda regret taking my black N3ds for Christmas because I want those Charizard and Blastoise faceplates :( and Red and Blue games are just an added bonus :p
About the mythical Pokemon giveaway: I hope I can get either X/Y or OR/AS before they start giving them away, I really want them all :sorry:

I just really have to ask this: why dont they distribute the pokemon over wifi instead of making people have to go to a gamestop, who might just require you to make an actual purchase in order to get the code?

Umm, does anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to support the 20th anniversary? I'm a hardcore Pokemon fan, with collectables and merchandises I have been archiving back in 1999, the start of the Pokemon hype with the anime and, of course, the first movie. I'm also a graphics designer, game developer, and pretty much talented overall. Really, I hate it if I'm being treated like some newbie just because I'm unknown, unlike those famous Youtubers or those who worked in the game industry. I need to prove that I'm a huge contributor to the franchise, but how? I really need to be better that those arrogant famous people!!

Are these the original games for the VC, or remasters? I'd love to play Yellow again.

TALK TO ME PIKACHU!!

Oh wow I didn't get any alerts on this :giggle:

@dilawer

From what I seen they will be the same as they were back for the GameBoy, I can't wait to buy Yellow when the game goes to the eshop.

@SamKitsune

I was the same way, I grew up watching it and I remember waking up early before school going to kindergarten (maybe it was first grade) watching the anime and talking about it to my friends and playing it on the playground.

I know most fans have parties for the anniversary, my friends and I did one for Mario and Zeldas anniversary (that sounded like they were married).

:oops: I forgot to mention the Pokémon Center I was talking about was the one in New York city, I love the plushes there (I need Raichu back).

Also @MysticSniper having them available via WiFi connection would be nice. I know my parents would kill me if I asked them to take me to GameStop for a Pokémon. The hate me asking for eShop cards for games.

Maybe Nintendo has a secret gift in mind, like Ash's Pikachu that we can get via Wi-Fi. I would love to have that little guy again.

I could make a pikachu with good stats, great nature, and a much better moveset than Ash runs on his. If anything, we'll probably get his gredinja because it's seems like it will be a major plot point in the anime.

Woohoo! Happy 20th to Pokemon, a franchise which has all treated us with love and care and has more than likely been a part of every single one of our lives. I've played pokemon forever, and no matter who I face casually, competitvely, or just face, we always make sure we have a good time. Can't wait for VC games, especially Yellow. You know what they say...Gotta catch em all!
