i know right, in gen 1 it started with 151 pokemon and now in gen 6 there is a whopping 718 pokemon plus the 3 pokemon who have been recently discovered which makes 721 pokemon. How many will the be in the 7th gen? Lol

No more than 80, but I think it will be hard to see a new one soon.

I think a update of the one we're playing would be better (for example, with the train, add another region. Gold, Silver and Crystal is the only version with two regions)

It could have been a lot more if Gen VI had added the usual amount of pokemon each new gen typically adds....seriously, there weren't that many pokemon introduced this gen

I think nintendo is trying to hype down the coming of new pokemon so they could more easily finish the series once they run out of ideas...

"once they run out of ideas..." lol I doubt it. Part of the reason there weren't that many new pokemon introduced was likely because they were making big changes to the metagame (Mega Evolutions) and didn't want to add too much.

How are they out of ideas with pokemon? Even then I'm confused what you're arguing. The only thing they may have run out of is colors, but maybe they just did it to break the trend idk

I mean, is the game with less new pokémons, also few of them aren't too much original.
What I mean, creating new pokémons is actually hard because in the last two generations, some pokémons aren't totally originals but other are.

game has a less new pokemon because the changes were more towards the metagame than the pokemon, as I said before. This is a turning point in how the game is played with the introduction of fairy type and mega evolutions. And in terms of some pokemon not really being original, that's always been a thing among all gens...I mean, Muk is literally a random glob of sludge and Garbodor is literally trash.
