It's is done much better then the 2nd one.
The blush part of the makeup still kind of look funny but it's only when you use the dark colors . There is a way to make it look better tho.

Yes, that's what I thought, they improved it! I've sen NPCs with nicely blended make up, dark ones, makes me wonder if you can unlock them later on?

You can unlock more colors on the color pallet by taking pics and showing the pics to one girl near the rose tea garden. She finds colors in the pics and she gives them to you for your makeup pallet.

I played quite a lot of fashion games on mobile and there's nothing that comes close from Style Savvy sadly...
